I thought this britannia hotel at Leeds bradford airport would of been better looked after !
I booked a one night stay at britannia Hotel about 1 mile from the Leeds bradford airport just to take a look as we will using the britannia hotel in August as we have a early morning flight to are very first holiday abroad.
i thought this britannia hotel would of been cleaner and more looked after.

I worked as a room attendant here about 10 years ago. Worst job ever! Was given 10min to clean each room and a crazy amount of rooms to do. I would take longer because i wanted it to be cleaned well for customers but would get told off for it. They never did deep cleans. Looks like nothing has changed.

The washing line is incase you want to rinse out your smalls! There is free wifi in all the public rooms. Also UV light causes the optical brighteners used in spot treatments like Resolve and in most laundry detergents to glow with a bluish white light, so some of the marks could be cleaning materials. Have you checked your home bathroom after it has been cleaned?

Dan, we stayed in the Britannia Hotel at Manchester Airport about 10 years ago. It cost £75 for the night and it was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The bedsheets clearly hadn’t been changed, black hairs and bits in the bed, ripped carpet that had been duck taped, dried wee on the toilet seat with a questionable hair dried into it and mould round the bath. We should have just crashed in the car overnight, yuk!

The truly terrible Britannia Hotel in Nottingham, in an absolute dump of a 60's tower block on Maid Marian Way, actually has a brothel operating inside it! Just found your channel, good stuff mate. Liked and subscribed as the youth say.

From experience there another Britannia hotel which is just as bad. That is the Grand Burstin in Folkestone, Kent. It is disgusting! Not long ago some of the concrete fell off the outside from near the top and injured a coach driver. From the location overlooking the harbour you would expect more. Beds are horrible and windows never clean. Only good thing about this Britannia hotel is the food is good. Love your videos. Thank you for everything you do and great to see Emma in this video. You can’t have stayed at many Britannia hotels before mate !! They are all shockingly bad, they are considered as the worst hotel chain in the UK Also those clothes lines long the bath are very common in hotels in the USA, good for hanging up your swimwear after being in the pool or at a water park

3:50 Not a fan of chairs facing the bed. 6:00 I hope you used your black light on the hairdryer? 6:55 Oh dear, a mirror facing a bed is not recommend, lucky there is not a mirror facing this one. 10:30 I would not be lying on the brown throw as they are not washed that often. 11:42 the spare loo roll is in the splash zone. 13:05 its to open the plug to empty the water out of the tub. It was a retractable clothes line that hooks into the keyhole bit you found on the wall at the other end of the bath. Also the thing that turned near the taps is to put the bath plug up and down. 😊 Edit - just carried on watching and see you’ve discovered the clothes line! 😄

Stayed here just immediately before the first lockdown. My mum and i came with a coach party. We had to go down in the lift to our room which had a distinct smell of germoline in it. For those too young to remember germoline its like an antiseptic ointment. I couldnt get the smell out of my nose for days. Our room had a door leadingout to a patio area which was filthy. Covered in debris and bird poo. We were on a half board deal and breakfast wasnt too bad. Theres always toast isnt there? Evening meal was vile. The chef was none too clean looking either. The meat was like shoe leather and veg very poor quality and overcooked. The place is miles away from anywhere so no option for food round about. It was certainly an experience but one we wouldnt like to repeat. We were out every day on the coach to different places so made sure we had a good lunch. This could be a very nice hotel if it was clean and they improved the food but i guess they just cater to the coach trips now and dont make a huge amount from it.

Village hotels in nearby Tingley, lot nicer and cheaper. Bathroom was twice the size, more moderner. Lovely breakfast part of the price, also gym and swimming pool.

Washing line is great. Especially for those staying more than a couple of nights, you might need to wash a pair of duds before you can get to a laundrette. Basically sink/shower washing 1 or 2 items and then hang to dry. Or swimming trunks, for example. I think they're great. More common in American motels.
