We found a room at a pod hotel in New York City for just $55 for the night. This could turn out to be a great inexpensive option in the city or we could be in for a really long night.

​@@ye23.because of migrants they were offered at the time a contract but decided to stay independent I'm not sure what they ended up doing I spoke to dude that does repairs there a couple months ago...EVERY cheap hotel in south Brooklyn has taken a contract except for 1 or 2 that I've seen..its actually impossible now to get short stay / cheap hotels in south Brooklyn

I've never seen either POD go for under 100 a night. And that was during covid. How did you get such an insane price.

We’ve noticed that as well! I believe this was a Friday in February, which is generally the cheapest month for hotels in the city. They typically offer 10-15% off for signing up for their emails but still, I don’t know if you could get it this cheap anymore. We are going to try the Pod in Times Square this year around the same date so I’m really curious how much the price will have changed

I was wrong. Last week of Jan-Feb '24 rates starting at 53 dollars for a bunk room. Guess who is staying in Times Square for 5 days. This rate is only available booking thru their website!
