When looking at prices, keep in mind that Disney does not charge a "resort fee", provides free transportation, and does not charge for parking.

This is very timely as we check in to All Star Sports tomorrow. As an AP, I've been to WDW 30+ times, but this will be our first time to ever stay in an All Star resort. Definitely couldn't beat the $87/night room with an AP discount!

I’ve stayed here soooo many times! Perfect for solo trips and it’s very easy to navigate! You’re also the closest to the entrance/exit of the 3 resorts and the first to get off if they combine 3 resorts coming back from the parks.

I've never stayed at a value but I’m really impressed by the quality of the room! It’s in great shape and there’s lots of thought put into how families will use the room. I’ve stayed in Hiltons and Marriotts that were in worse shape than this.

I stayed at Sports for my first ever solo trip for my birthday two years ago. I had stayed there once before when I was very little, but had heard not so good things so I was a little nervous if I would like it. But I loved it! I lucked out and got a room pretty closed to the lobby. I think the All Stars are great for quick trips but if you do want to have some resort days, moderate or deluxe will be a bit more relaxing.

I love the ALL-STAR properties! aside from hearing toilets flush from the rooms around me, they are great!

I hear lots of people complain about flushing toilets and doors closing. That’s not something we experienced at all! We stayed at All Star Music for 12 days at the end of December through to January. It was so quiet!

I stayed at All Star Movies a couple years ago, and enjoyed it! My family’s only problem was that (at the time,) the rooms were outdated. Looks a lot better now though! Also seeing Emma was a fun surprise!

The All Stars are my go to if I'm doing a split stay. I'll load a night or two on the front at one of them (which ever one is cheapest at the time) then I'm able to go to a deluxe for the rest of the trip. I don't know that I would stay at one for an entire 5 or 6 night trip, but I also wouldn't stay at any of the other value resorts for an entire trip. No, I'm not a snob. I tend to go solo a lot and I'm a woman in my late 60s so I can usually afford to stay at a moderate or deluxe. That said, when my son was little, had they existed (which they did not, only the MK deluxe and the Fort did back then, not even the Epcot resorts had been built) as a single mom, I wouldn't have hesitated to stay at one for an entire trip.

I've stayed All Star a couple time and would rather foot the little extra to stay at Pop and get the Skyliner, but the All Stars are great on the budget.

The area you stayed at was a 'preferred' (cost more) area in 2018, we were the next buildings away. I Hated walking past the smoking area, right next to the dining table exit, every time we went to the bus, eating, came back from the bus. The steps going up to the pool at that end was almost always covered by smokers after dark also.

What time do the Grap and Go areas close at the resorts? I don't think I've ever heard anyone say what time they close up.

08:05 So that's what that's for. I've stayed at Sports and it's nice. It's just cheap room to stay and go to Disney. I would definitely want to stay in the Football rooms to be close to buses.

The Touchdown buildings (7 and 10) are preferred (not standard) rooms.

My home resort. I just don't like that with the last refurbishment we lost a table. We used to get two beds and a table. Now we have one bed and either a bed or a table.

My gripe with this resort is, when I put my hotel stay in 8 months in advance, when I got to Disney I was told my room wasn't ready. Then I got told I had been "bumped" from a ground floor reservation to a 4th floor. My request was for the ground floor because I an a cancer survivor, having over 12 surgeries, including major knee surgery that causes me to walk with a limp. I had to walk a good 1/4 of a mile more a day than if they had honored my 8 month request.
