Before they built the motorway that bypasses Cashel, as kids we would go from Dublin to home in Cork and we were always excited to turn the corner on the road and see the Rock of Cashel looming up in the distance. Even as an Irish man that grew up with places like this it has always been special.

Wow I spent years around the castle doing Christmas trees it's a serious place and we seen very very strange things in the middle of the day in the fields

Those uniforms were old british army uniforms ,and we don't really care what tourists do with those to be frank.We don't want to hide that we were occuppied by the english /british for centuries we aren't bitter that way,but still.

@@AtlasUnlimited We have mixed feelings about castles like huntington ,because they were confiscated from there original native irish catholic owners and replaced with english protestsnt owners who in many cases oppressed the majority catholic peasants .That castle was taken during Cromwells reconquest of ireland who is regarded by us irish as the equivalent of hitler.Nevertheless that is the history of the country and should be preserved,but it won't be celebrated by native irish people .
