HitboTC is a brave man indeed. I have been to a few forts of fortune with the new season and it seems thats where all the cheaters from hourglass mode went. Super fast swimming with kegs, shooting through the hull of a ship to kill people inside and all sorts of nonsense. Several times i have seen some tiny sloop crew hold off countless ships all at once, while being pulverised, only to ignore the damage and still be able to have crew swimming about or on opposing ships. In hourglass mode its one on one - but at fort of fortune everyone is turning up - multiple crews all against one cheating ship and its horrific to watch or take part in. I guess we could only keep them in the cage of hourglass for so long and now they are out with everybody else and its brutal.

bro yesterday was such a W hitbotc! We stole 3 athenas 3 chest of fortunes, and 2 ashen winds skulls we made 1.2 mil of that selling and the whole server was after us including a ton of sweaty skeletons Edit: this was all in the same server so, and all at the same time so as you can imagine with 3 chest of fortune already just sitting on your boat them darn sweaty server hoppers almost sunk us twice but we managed to do it!

“The rarest chest” *takes about 15 minutes to get from multiple locations* 😂 The chest of wondrous secrets is actually the rarest chest, for anyone who didn’t know. You can even manually spawn a chest of fortune in a fotd, so it’s not even like it’s out of players’ control unlike so many other commendation items in the game (barnacle chests, skellie ship spawns, etc.). I get trying to create some allure around the new chest, but rare it is not. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I swear someone said it, maybe it was in regards to the chest switching locations later on, I dunno. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Edit: it was Boxy I heard it from. He’s said multiple times over different streams “I’m hopping for a fof or fotd for the new chest”. Not that it’s much of an excuse on my part though. 😂
