Sexuality is not linear. Bisexuality isn't 50\50. If there are genuine feelings there, and genuine attraction I don't see the issue. Even relationships aren't cookie cutter. They could have an open relationship or even have a third. Nothing about sexuality, romantic relationships, or anything of the such is binary as this man is putting it. I do think that it is best and being a decent human being for the caller to ensure he's not doing it for shallow reasons like the guy in the white was saying, as to not hurt her. But if it's just to say you are gay so just stay gay??????? What the hell is that? BISEXUALITY IS REAL.

I agree that sexuality isn’t linear but the caller doesn’t say he’s pursing or has recently pursued other women. He wants his woman best friend and he has said he doesn’t want to bring her into his chaos and hurt her like the others. I don’t question that he loves his best friend, but it does sound like he’s imaging this perfect partnership with someone he already loves. I don’t deny his queer experiences and identities, if he says he’s bisexual then he is bisexual there’s no debate. But he is actually aware that he will hurt her because he knows deep down it’s not going to work. He’s so desperate for a perfect love that he’s trying to make it work with his beautiful best friend. If he really wanted to experience he shouldn’t test the waters with someone so close to him. Being bisexual, gay or straight for one person unfortunately doesn’t work in the long wrong. These podcasters were actually very smart to ask for context and what the callers recent relationships look like.

Something I never understood about gay dudes, what is with the affectation? Is it to just outwardly signal that you're gay? Cuz obviously it's a put on, it's a learned behavior that you could stop at any time. So, why? Genuine question.

Good dudes but maybe there are some holes in their specialties in regards to the gay conversation. My bro here is feeling a transition to a life of stability and love and respect towards someone he appreciates. The closing reply is fair, but also we have to appreciate someone who is willing to adjust their life choices. Sexuality is a spectrum, and it is a valid pull to desire a family, but life won't be so chaotic if homie is willing to put in the work and counseling to unlearn some of the more hurtful experiences that have left him hurt and confused.
