What do you mean father? It's more like older counterpart. Safi didn't give birth to Xeno, it's the energy of other Elder Dragons and The Land of Convergence that did. We have absolutely no confirmation whether there's more than one of the species or whether they mate (or even have a sex). It could be that the Xeno'jiiva that we fought at the end of the base game survived and grows to become Safi, or it could be that there are several. We don't know for sure.

It was always hinted that Rajang and Deviljho were low ED tier in terms of the food chain in the older games(preying on monsters like Kirin, while not completely emptying the map like Kushala and co), so seeing them suddenly tie with mid-weight EDs in World was pretty jarring. Even their subspecies shouldn't be _too_ much of a jump forward in power, so those shouldn't be competing with mid-weights either.

@@christiancinnabars1402 there was no actual indication about them being low ED like Kirin, all we knew is that they are ED level monsters and informations about them actually fighting Elder Dragons other than Kirin did appear sometimes. There is no "suddenly" at all. We didn't seen a Savage Deviljho fighting a Elder Dragon and losing and then tie in World. Vaal is also not so much more powerful than the likes of Teostra to justify him winning, expecially since Ruiner Nergigante ties with Rajang. Using what you say about other monsters not appearing on maps, well that was the case even with Rajang, in FU at least.

The Elder ones were literally missing in the game and are pretty well here, beside the jiiva one, the Garuga ones were good too, and i liked the Goldie ones because there is a lack of turf wars for the metal raths in game...

There's turf wars that I loved to see happen in MHWI. Like Great Girros could've have had a chance with one turf war with Anjanath/Fulgur. Others also include Jho/Savage & Zinogre/Stygian, and Ruiner/Velkhana/Lunastra/Teostra/Kushala & Namielle. One in particular is Rajang facing against other brute wyverns, like give us a "King Kong vs T-Rex" fight cliche. Savage and Rajang is close to it, but when Rajang/Furious happen to be victorious in the turf war.
