My pride and joy is a '97 Holiday Rambler travel trailer, 32x8, mostly similar build to the Thor you're currently in.💖💖💖 PS I just saw Nomadic Introvert navigating Michigan floods in her brand new Thor van a few days ago, which was just barely high enough. And she found out the Thor could not be converted to lithium batteries, bc it would void the factory warranty as they're not OEM. They also said that with her full time usage, she'll need to buy new batteries every year. Just a quick tip for anyone considering Thors.

You guys are the sweetest couple! Love watching your video's. I had not seen a Class A 26' rv. I have a 28' Class C. Thor Chateau. It's a 2000 model and ONLY has just turned over to 33,000 miles. Wow! I got it for $15,500!! It's immaculate. Looks like never used but I took out the dinette and painted all the "80's" wood to white and the kitchen lower cabinets a sage grey color. I took out upper cupboards to open up that area and will use open shelving. This RV even has a full size bathtub with the shower combo. This RV is so beautifully bright inside now with white. The outside doesn't even have rock chips over the cab area on the overhang. I really lucked out. God was good to me! I'm doing this all myself with now my brother stepping in to help me with new kitchen butcher block counter and the sink install. My husband ... my dear husband passed in February of this year which left me devastated. I am 68 and will be selling my 2.3 acres and living small. I'm done with all this "stuff" we accumulated over the years. Overwhelmed with so much. I pray for the best for you guys. Be safe out there and I hope sometime I can meet up with you guys to give you a hug. I live in WA state about 30 miles east of Everett WA. Keep up the awesome video's. Oh ya... and I need to mention, I'm going to have to do this with my 6 cats. Egads! I bought a 10'x12' screened tent that will be setup next to bedroom window with a tunnel running through window into the tent so they can be outside. We have a 10'x10' chainlink dog run here at the house that they are tunneled out to, so they are used to that sort of thing. We have too many predator's here that have gotten our kitties in the past and won't let them out on their own anymore. Happy travels!!! xoxo

Hey Tanya & Dave, so glad to see you guys staying flexible and exploring, still having fun, no matter what RV life serves up. That's the spirit! Hi Tanya and Dave. I thought I’d give you a little tip that I’ve learned from experience and it only takes one experience. When you go to dump your gray and black tanks do a little bit of the gray first, then do the black, then do the rest of the gray, so, if you have a hole in your hose or a connection is loose, you’ll find out with gray water instead of black!
@Morerhapsody Жыл бұрын
Guys. You made me cry my eyes out from your happiness and enthusiasm. Then at Las Flores ? Oh wow! I was laughing at your reaction to the food! I can't make any sense out of this...I guess because I'm a new Yorker and I haven't been on the road in decades. Thank you for the love 😢😅 Donna 😊

When dumping your black and grey tanks. Its a good idea to open the greay tank first to test your connections for leaks before dumping the black . Ask Phil why?

You both are so happy, and I feel it and know it, so I'm gonna clap my hands! 👏👏😊 Welcome back, both of you, to being that happy duo that we all respect and love greatly! We have the same floorplan but in a Winnebago-made Class A built on the diesel Sprinter chassis. We made the twin beds into permanent 88"x75" king. For those interested in this floorplan on a diesel (15mpg), the models are either an 2009-2016 Itasca Reyo 25T or 2009-2018 Winnebago Via 25T. We also prefer the black tank to cassette or compost toilets, and dry bath to wet bath.

I love your channel so much!!!! I have enjoyed watching several of your videos. I was sad when your wreck happened btw.... This video is top shelf!!! Thank you for letting me enjoy your experiences. The type of Class A in this video first caught my interest about 9 or 10 years ago it seems, there was a lengthy video I watched from an RV Dealer on KZbin. I liked the fact that it had the V-10 Triton. I liked working on that engine when I was still turning wrenches for a living, nobody else in the shop would work on them, but I decided to learn about them and see the good side of doing repairs on them. (All engine work sucks actually, but sometimes you need to just move forward and learn)... Sorry for the lengthy comment, but I just really like both of your personalities!!! Much love and wishing you safe travels from Bronston, Kentucky. Red Mann a.k.a. Rick 😊❤

Thanks so much Rick for your great comment and sharing your experiences! Glad to see you're moving on the road in an RV again and smiling. Loved this video! I really like this larger RV. However, the clearance appears really limited so you can't go semi-off roading like Desert Snow, right? I wonder if they make a similar class A that's more rugged and higher and better insulation like you mention for cold/hot camping adventures. It's more like a home on wheels, such expanded space and conveniences. All a learning / trying process I suppose. Hope Desert Snow is on the road again soon! Oh, and that outdoor TV is SO NICE! You're gonna get spoiled!

My husband and I visited the museum last spring, and couldn’t go inside because of water damage on the floors. Now we know what we missed! As always, great video!!

Aww Utah! Most beautiful skies anywhere. My old stomping grounds, as I worked at the Utah Shakespeare Festival for years. It’s a town filled with good people. Cedar City is the best. Enjoy!
