it managed to hook back up so i wonder if you sprayed a homemade prep to increase the grip between the tire and the dyno rollers if it would stay hooked up and you could get a really good run out of it. that is if cleetus is ok with doing this on his expensive dyno.

I would strongly recommend PPE (fire suit, helmet, gloves etc) for the operator when testing at that level, especially with Methanol. Basically simulate your equipment that you would use racing. Only takes a fuel line to blow or transmission etc which could be extremely hazardous for the person in the car. Love the content, just a quick comment to ensure everyone stays safe.

The lights flickering could be from the eddy brake and nothing to worry about. A company I worked for had a dynocom dyno. The electrical interference from the eddy brake was unreal. It would freeze the dyno computer and other electronics in the room. Never messed with the sensors on the cars tho. Made all the electronics in the room wireless and solved the problem.

@@damiendoisher7812 yep, may be a sign of bad things to come, and if the diode is starting to go bad that can be a problem with high revs. It tends to expose a weakness in the alternator. if your alternator is solid, you won't ever experience it. I had a Ford that used to COOK alternators with high revs. Discovered a bad ground and helped tremendously
