I think it’s helped a lot that he was on a bike that he didn’t have to worry about wrecking, I think it makes the process a lot more daunting if it’s your own pride and joy, this video also shows the importance of protective gear too, although it was slow and controlled for the most part, it still pays to wear your gear 🏁

If you want a cheap bike to practice on I ended up getting a Grom clone (I know, yuck) for $1200. I've rode sport bikes and dirt bikes all my life, but always did power wheelies. After almost looping at 80mph (foot brake saved me) I decided it was time to slow things down. These videos are perfect for learning clutch ups and keep me from going fast. If you want a bike that you can beat up, the clone is the perfect starter bike, I did a start to finish guide on them on my channel, it's 2 hours long and very detailed, but for anyone wanting to get their first bike, it's a great learning experience. Plus with it being a quarter of the price of a Grom it's hard to beat. Used Groms were 200-300 cheaper, but $3500 for a bike that I knew would get beat up wasn't worth it to me. A large majority of parts from the Grom fit except for motor parts. You'll also piss a lot of the Groms off if you do a 190 ($700) or a 212 swap ($900) and make them eat your dust. I've been trying to blow this motor so I can do the swap and I have 500 miles on it. I'm talking Rev limiter wheelies and top speed RPM limiter. Keep in mind the newer Groms are 5 speed, so you don't have to rev limit clutch dump for wheelies.

i was trying it .so i consider it as it is really enjoyed and I learn it day by day from you and your videos .on the other hand I am Sri Lanka and there isn't a place to stunts .sri Lankan peoples define it as an annoyance to them. but I thought this is young energy. most young peoples like to wheelie in our country .but they do have not a teacher .i also one of them. fortunately, I met you and now I learn and practice your videos, methods, tricks, and much thank full to you.i wish you and to success your future. I will become a super stunner from your videos .it is my one of ambition.i will connect with your channel everyday.put good lessons about wheelie like above video.and thank you god bless.

That’s some solid progress! Best advice is take it at your own pace. You’re not gonna be riding at balance point just holding it up forever on your first day. Maybe you will. But it will take lots of seat time and practice. Keep it safe and keep progressing. Drill into your head the rear brake and use it even when you don’t need it.

I was at that level the first day TRULY trying to wheely my CR85. (1)The thing that REALLLLY helped me was simply learning brake control by popping it up in 2nd then tapping it back down.. over and over for like 30 min. Then (2) popping it up and leaning back with almost no throttle and trying to coast. I taught myself a lot, but I have been doing fixed gear wheelies for 10 years.
@ProdigyDad3 жыл бұрын
Awesome.. for real though I watched your first how to wheelie video the other day, practiced for 2 hours today and got the clutch pop down and did my first wheelie maybe 15ft. Still practicing the brake pedal along with throttle control. I'm a new rider, new bike owner and have only put 350mi on my bike in the last month that I've had it. Pretty stoked.. thanks to your tips and instructions. Sportin the hawk 250.. yup that's right.. china bike Amazon special. Cheap good beginner bike.. better bike to come in the near future and YES it does wheelie, it's all in the skills of the rider.. and practice practice practice.

Thanks for this video. It is extremely inspiring and what I needed rn. Love the positive vibes. I'm still recovering from looping my grom onto my foot 2 months ago. This video has taught me I really need to take a step back and hit the basics. I thought I had done enough drilling, but every time I crash it's cuz I panic and take my feet off. I can't wait to get back at it. I'm gonna stop trying regular sit downs and gonna drill the fuck out of brake and leg drags till I got this shit. Thanks again.
