I fosh with whip. I have like 5 whips between 3m to 8m. I love them. Playing big carp is definitely a challenge 💪🏻🔥

love my g90 from carp bagging to winter silvers covers all get a short 4 for when you put that 16m section on makes fishing longer a dream

Both versions of the G90 are brilliant. As I said in the video, I don’t like calling it a power pole as it’s light and stiff enough to do anything!

@@danwebbfishing456 is there much difference from the original g90 to the g90 pro ive been told there isnt
@danwebbfishing4563 ай бұрын
@@deanoDEANO-lk5veit is better, but only marginally. If you wanted something significantly better, you’d step up to an Airty Pro.

Best poles in the market place robust, strong never broke my daiwa. Thinking of upgrade to G90 pro well done Diawa 👏🏻

My main problem with the non top end Daiwa poles. Firstly, they sag like an upside down banana when people cup in. Secondly, it seems to be the number 6, 7 and bigger sections that break. Expensive to replace. If I had to replace anything I'd rather it be a cheaper no3 or no4. Why do people state spares are readily available as a benefit? If you don’t break them, you shouldn't need them. Top kits and spare sections for all brands are available. I've never had a problem getting spares for other brands, even during Covid. Some people just don't know where to look. I've worked in product sales and marketing long enough to know that all the trademarked logos on the graphics section is just maketing bull. Anglers should use what they’re comfortable with, for their specific requirements within their own budget.

The first connoisseur was not the G8 . As it was just called the connoisseur then the 2nd edition had bullet nosed round joints which actually ruined the Pole.

Nice pole but do angling times ever do a review and say that's crap??
@danwebbfishing4564 ай бұрын
If you had a crap product, would you be daft enough to send it to Angling Times to review?
@peterroome50184 ай бұрын
@danwebbfishing456 they review most poles and there's never a bad word for one lol!!
@Korvintage644 ай бұрын
How can they when they rely on manufacturers for lucrative advertising income. Poles, like much angling equipment is subjective anyway. Many will continue to purchase simply due to brand loyalty. For me it's all about the balance of a pole & the only way to feel this is down a dealers pole alley; ohhh matron

Another review of a 16m pole where they didn’t show it at 16m, most of it was probably around 13.5m (14.5m section in hand without Dolly!)

The package is a bit on the tight side. Spare top kits are very readily available though.

What a shame the new pole wasn't compared to the old g90 in terms of stiffness just another rebadged pole with an additional 600 quid slapped on top shame it isn't a proper reveiw
