There's a third element here, besides just Luck and Skill. There's also the Social element. And I'm not just talking "we're all partying and having fun." But even something as simple as "you, Sophist, and Vernias don't consistently triple team King of Skill" is a major element in who wins the game. If y'all did, King of Skill would go from usually winning to usually losing (although he'd probably get pissed and not play the game with y'all anymore). Boo Stealing? Y'all got game-shows going on with 'em. "Who to steal from" definitely involves a strong Social element, and y'all have another way of deciding it besides "numerically optimal" or "go random." And y'alls way is neither sub-optimal nor optimal: it's just how y'all play. And, of course, the ever present, "hey, Nick, you keep saying you love content, why don't YOU go do the Chance Time?" "OK, fine, I will," and then use your Custom Dice to hit chance time. There's little social elements like that that introduce micro-changes to how the game plays out here, there, and everywhere, and said micro-changes aren't simply a facet of Luck of the Dice, or of Skill: they're born of social group dynamics. Like the Luck, the Social element introduces a strong element of unpredictable chaos in the game, the kind that can't simply create a math algorithm for to find the most optimal solution. (I say this as a math guy: look up 'chaos theory' if you don't know what it is all ready). But it's also not Luck-based chaos: how the Social element plays out is dependent on how each individual acts within the group and its dynamics.

Mario party is the perfect blend of luck and skill. You could go in and win most of the minigames and have a solid strategy or you could just stumble into victory. the skill elements are balanced in such a way that it definitely gives you an advantage However it doesn't always guarantee you will win.

I'd honestly love to see a modded game of mario party where this is up to the test. Like, 2 players who can choose their dice rolls and one wins automatically all luck based stuff, but aren't allowed to do anything skill based. Other two players get to actually compete in skills based stuff and are allowed to strategize on the map with items movement (not just beeline toward the star always). I'd be curious to see over the course of a few games who ends up winning the most (I think luck would though tbh lol)

The skill involved with Mario party is adaption to the opponents, the boards and events and adaption through anticipation for few events! Also manipulation of events and spaces etc. the strategy when planning your moves and your foresight is part of the "skill". It's ultimately adaption and strategy with heavy luck but you can adapt to that luck.

Trap Ease Artist and Manor of Escape are certainly Skuck mini games. In Trap Ease Artist, there's a lot of luck, but you still have to time your button press well. In Manor of Escape, you can use a keen eye to keep track of which doors have already been tried, and there's a strategy in taking the nearest door that has yet to be entered. Catching someone going to a lower level and noticing the door they took is also skillful.
