Get a "Weber Smoky Mountain" and the "Pit Barrel Cooker WSM hanging system" PBC sells on their site and your options will go through the roof. You're looking at roughly the same price with loads more options. Oh, and it comes with a built in thermometer too.

Be aware that the PBC is designed to be operated with both hanging rods installed, even if they are not being used to support food, at all times. The airflow volume is calculated based on this condition.

Hey my BBQ Sisters, the Pit Barrel Cooker is my go to cooker. Cooks everything perfect and it is basically a set it and forget it cooker. I bought mine several years ago and it's one of the best investments I have ever made in my life. With the Pit Barrel Cooker there is no need for a temperature gauge on the cooker or any probes. I have never used any probes and never will. Been cooking and smoking meat so long I can tell when it's done by looking and a good thermometer. I would say this cooker would be an excellent cooker/grill for a beginner. Enjoyed the review! See you all at Friday's Livestream God willing and the creek don't rise. You all Stay Safe & Take Care! Mrs. Skoggit sez hey to everyone!

Great review again ladies. I love, love, love the PBC!!! It's one of the most versatile grills and beef ribs out of it are one of the best experiences I've made so far. Do I miss a temperature gauge or water pan. I certainly don't cause everything cooks so evenly and perfect in this amazing device, I don't think you can make any mistake when using it properly. And there's one important thing - it has got horseshoe handles 👄 I'm glad that you have one in your fantastic grill studio now and hope to see it many times in the future. Did I say that this video was not only informative, it was super funny as well🤣 Love you and send big hugs 🤗🇨🇦💞👍🤩😎💙

Yaaaay we’re glad to hear you’re a PBC fan too, Michael! It is one solid unit that pumps out some awesome BBQ! I (Maddie) definitely gotta just sit back and relax and forget about the temperature gauge, you’re right, it cooks everything so evenly so you don’t even need to know the temp at all!!! And yes those horseshoe handles are soooooo darn AWESOME! Nothing ugly about this thing! And we are so glad this review gave you a laugh, we are always disagreeing as sisters do LOL!!!! Love you too and sending MASSIVE hugs!!!!!💃🏻💖🔥❤️🔥 🇦🇹☀️

You two are entertaining and fun (ny)! I picked up a pit barrel @ my local recycling company, Urban Ore, in Berkeley, California, for $100 bucks. I’ve yet to fire it up. Are either of you Canadian females single, and available? I would love to chop and split your smoker wood and make delicious salads to enhance your culinary grilling forays. Wasabi Salmon over wild rice with grilled garlic asparagus and Tartine sourdough bread! Some Cabernet wine spice it up? Our imaginations are the limit. Thanks for your inspiring silliness! A toast to creativity!

I have a lifelong friend coming from Alabama this weekend and bringing five of her Ladies Group with her. My Niece is letting them stay at her lake house. I'll be cooking for 7 ladies and 2 men for 4 days, wish me good luck, I don't know what my friend has told them about my cooking, it should be interesting. I'll let you know how it turns out.
