Curious if you guys have seen any of the KZbin videos with the guy from Kleen Tank. They give a recipe for what they say to use in the tanks. Apparently all the these liquefiers make a pancake batter like sludge that messes up the sensors and cause odors. I am new to RVing as I am retiring next year and we just purchased a fifth wheel. I am curious if you have any experience with their service or recommendations.

We’ve seen their videos but we have a lot of colleagues in the industry who clean tanks as a specialty service and they all recommend one of these tank treatments versus the pinesol method (doesn’t break down solids as well). Dawn dish soap breaks down grease but not as well with solids either. Lots of Water in your tanks is the antidote for sludge.

Thanks for the reply@@missionrvservices . Apparently the Calgon makes a slippery coating in the tank so that waste is flushed out of the tank more easily. Lots of water also makes a big difference. I enjoy your videos alot. I am currently taking the NRVTA home pro version in hopes of doing starting a business when I retire next year. I am considering going down to the school next spring.

Your calculations on cost are wrong i believe? Unique is 2 oz per application per their website. That would only be 8 treaments per bottle. So your cost per application would double. Liquified is only 1 oz per application. (Except when over 85⁰). I may be wrong?

I believe the RV Digest is a 32 oz bottle and the Liquified is a 16 oz bottle.

You can open your browser right now and get the facts yourself with the same number of key strokes and time you wasted telling someone they're wrong with stuff you made up....

liquified is 17.99
@missionrvservices8 ай бұрын
Where? Right now Amazon has it for 24.99.

Liquified pricing… $17.99 for the 16 ounce ($1.12/treatment), $24.99 for the 32 ounce ($0.78/treatment).

@@JamesJonesVideos thank you for sharing that prices actually change. By the time another person watches this months/years down the road, I’m sure they will have changed again.
@JamesJonesVideos6 ай бұрын
@@missionrvservices I considered the price may have changed but I noticed the original commenter noted the $17.99 price (1 month ago) at the time of your video so I went back and checked my purchases from November and December (4 and 5 months ago) and it was also $17.99. The likelihood is you quoted the price from the larger 32 ounce bottle. I only meant to be helpful.

@@JamesJonesVideos Thank you for your helpfulness. The video was actually made and posted early summer of 2023.

I would love to see a true measure of treatment to water ratio. The 2oz into an 8oz cup is equivalent to adding 50 full bottles into a 45 gallon black tank. I'm guessing a single drop of treatment would be much more realistic 🤔

I understand this, as I stated on the note in the video. This wasn’t about how long it takes to breaks down solids. It was a test to see which of the two broke down faster with the same treatment/water/food involved. Using two full 40 gallon tanks (clear tanks- so that you could see) and monitoring/videoing for hours to give you the play by play, just wasn’t feasible. So this was the best I could do. But thanks for your feedback 😊
