Ive attended Celebrate Recovery since April 2024. Our area has a Celebrate Recovery 7 days a week. I attended inpatient detox, and will probably go home today. I have a large group of women in Celebrate Recovery for support. I also have a church behind me. I have rededicated my life to Jesus. I know with God and my support system I will make it. I was so desperate to overcome the addiction, that I borrowed money from a lender to pay the hospital for what my insurance didn't pay. I feel so free.

I've overcome several drug addictions and God physically removed me from the fires of hell and Im saying that I felt that stuff....it is not worth living in sin.... it's not. I'm 13-14 years sober from 2 different addictions( heroin and cocaine), 10 from one (alcohol), and 6 months from meth, now I'm free and I fully give God the glory. I'm 30 about to be 31 yo...I've had 5 strokes and 2 heart attacks... but I praise Him in my storms and now I'm doing great and I'm finally happy.... it's thanks to Jesus.❤....I know that this seems far fetched... but I'm not one to lie. I claim this in the name of Jesus. I was in a trucking accident on August 27th 2020 which demolished my spine and left me 100 percent disabled. Because of cocoa and no one being in their offices it took 2 years to start drawing disability and then I only draw a month around what I was making a week as a truck driver. The accident was the other part at fault and they received tickets for it but the insurance companies have yet to settle with me so I have lost everything I ever owned and would be homeless except for my landlords patience and belief that I will pay him when I do get a settlement. Now my cars engine blew up and I don't even have personal transportation. I know God's grace will suffice, but it's tough when you are not even sure where your next meal will come from. I never knew what being broke was really like until this happened and I pray for all those going through any situation that puts them in similar circumstances. I listen to this song often when I get feeling really down and out always picks me back up to get through another day. I ask for prayers from anyone who reads this and thank you for them.

Last night before I prayed before going to sleep ( I ask Jesus silently for things when I pray, so the opposing force can NOT hear what's being said ) I asked Jesus if the rapture is happening soon please give me a sign if I'll be going.) I wake up this afternoon, ( I'm a night owl ) I get myself some coffee, I sweeten my coffee with honey NOT sugar. Now when I do this I try to remember the honey goes in after I pour the coffee into the cup, NOT before. Well still groggy and not totally awake, I put the honey in before pouring the coffee in the cup and thought oh well I made a mistake. I licked the honey off of the spoon and poured my coffee. What song came to mind as I did this? Holy Water!!! I kid you not!!! I started singing, "It's Like Sweet, Sweet Honey On My Lips." Then I get in front of the computer and see your comment! It's the first thing I see!!! I'm a grown man with tears in his eyes now!!! What made you contact me? This is crazy!!!!

Beautiful brought me to tears so many times. Reading these comments makes realize the power of God and music. Boy where to start, I was lost! Short of murder and rape I’ve about done it all. Finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired. Tired of letting myself down. I tried every vice man has created to find happiness none of them worked. Had a whisper to my heart because you’ve never tried me. I can help. I can’t doing it for you but I’ll help the best I can. Coming up on 3 yrs clean and sober. My life has improved 1000%. Not perfect by any means but it’s so much better. One thing I feel like church has shown me is just how many of us feel lonely and let down by others. I believe this is why we need God and Jesus in our lives. He’s the only one who is always for us and never against us. I pray everyone stays on the right path an if you wonder off that you find your way back before you become to lost and can’t find your way back.

I am a brain tumor survivor from a large minigioma in 2009. Surgery did not get it all. Found regrowth via MRI. PRAISE GOD it was caught early enough that radiation treatments are killing it.
