So glad you had time to relax at the farm, and layering is definitely the way to go to keep warm for your uk trip. I went to Europe last winter and as long as you have a warm jacket and a couple layers you should be fine. People also tend to really heat their houses over there so it’s great to be able to take a layer off when you go inside ❤❤

Sorry if someone said this already but I think you might be over thinking the shoes for the uk, really all you'll need is a pair of hiking boots (they're generally not expensive or hard to break in) and trainers or boots. I think the doc marten shoes aren't great for lots of walking :)
