The whole world will be converted after the modern order of things, in other words, Commandment keepers will be rebelling against the god of this world and his deluded followers. It’s upside down : they want their cake and eat it too. They don’t like God’s rules , reject them, and replace them with their own rules. But God’s Law reflects attributes of His own character : by rejecting it they reject Him.

@@Liza-kp6cv Along the same lines as ,”You will own nothing and be happy .” We also see this in the Bible during the Egyptian 7 years famine as the population sold their souls to Pharaoh in exchange for food to keep their families from starving, except the priests who had an allotted amount from the royal treasury, including Joseph’s family, the Israelite, God’s chosen servants, Holiness to the Lord ( Genesis 47 and Jeremiah 2:3).

Why do we have so much church ceremony and government paperwork surrounding marriage? In the Bible, there was a feast. The man and woman spent the night together. And, they were married. Why is there so many complications added to the simple “Genesis 2:24 (KJV) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”?

All observances set up by God’s government are rejected and under attack by the powers of darkness/sin . The Ten Commandments declare we honor the Sabbath, our parents, God (our Heavenly Father) and our Earthly Spouse . Finally, Matthew 16:24-26. This is what is in store for those who honor God’s established relationships.
