@@WaterAndEarthGirlit’s definitely headache territory. i have adhd too, but that doesn’t give me the excuse to kill other people in-game just because i’m dead and bored (of my own doing) and want to rush another round (that i’ll ultimately die in _again_ because of my adhd). i don’t understand why platy specifically cannot just talk to his chat while waiting. he talks to his chat probably the most out of every gamer in the group (to the point where it often irritates me in other games like among us or phasmo). he really couldn’t just wait? it’s rude and frustrating

That is such a dumb idea. Why let the dead vote? What is the point. They died so they should try to play better and live. But with voting, who cares if you die just vote and bam your playing again to do the same joke of killing teammates and dying over and over. I was waiting for the voting incident as many people have mentioned and yeah, that fucking sucks. “We don’t like sitting around watching one person sneak around” or whatever it was Platy said. But… you voted early at 10:34 to make the ship leave at 11:34. The ship will leave at 12 anyways. You’re that bored and impatient you’d rather make the ship leave 26 minutes earlier than it’s already going to? At that point just wait. It’s literally like 10-15 seconds IRL

he and chibi really disappointed me with their attitude. chibi said “we were waiting a long time” and platy said “as much as we like watching one person crouch walk inside by themselves, we made an executive decision”. like, no, you got bored (adhd) because you were dead early due to rushing (adhd) the objectives, and you wanted to start the game early so you could do the same thing over again (adhd) and didn’t care if others were alive or not. we can sit here and make excuses all day about it being adhd, but the point is that adhd doesn’t excuse being rude to others. (and i’m an adhd’er myself).

The voting aspect can easily make this game frustrating I think unless house rules are set up. I've seen people get angy about it but when they're bored they'll quickly vote to leave. It's not the best system.

It can be used well, like if one of the blind dogs is in the ship and the last player is hiding on top, but 90% of the time I’ve seen it used it just ends up feeling shitty for anyone still alive. Kinda wish there was a host setting to turn it off, but that wouldn’t help in what happened to Ze bc the host is the one that initiated it. It’s just a shitty system in general with not a whole lot of ways to improve it

Just unfortunately people are more into trolling or too impatient and would rather spoil other people's games. I think most of the people in this group are pretty good about respecting house rules once they're made, as long as they remember lol.

Ghosts should be able to vote to leave, however it should only be valid if a living player is on the ship, so they can't have the ship abandon living players and throw the game, and a living olayer on the ship can veto the vote. If the ship is swarmed with blind dogs you want the ghosts to be able to vote to leave for you and you dont want a single person in the building to, unkowingly or purposefully, prevent the ship from leaving in a dangerous situation.

i feel the same way about platy. it’s incredibly frustrating. i’ve honestly started to watch his videos less and less because of it. i get that it’s probably adhd or whatever (as a fellow adhd’er), but i can barely watch any among us lobbies he’s in because he doesn’t pay attention at all (and then tunnels the wrong people, usually pretty hard). same with any phasmo vids (i can watch jeremy’s vids, just not from platy’s pov). like, if you want to have streams (and videos) where you just talk to chat the entire time, why don’t you just do a podcast or do a “just chatting” style stream? the whole 0.5sec blitz chaotic speedrun for content and then getting bored and rushing others (and thus ignoring they need content too) feels cheap and lazy.

this is fantastic, one of my favourite sort of series is where platy plays brutal company with all the goblins and this is just that with fan-favourite characters. absolutely beautiful just realized this is also a nightmare because literally everyone there is trying to create content and that's not great for making progress or team cohesion

This was less fun and more just anxiety inducing from conflicting personalities, and people unable to deal with being dead for a few minutes and not letting people actually play the game and get content. It wasn't even the sheer amount of chaos, that was hilarious. Just some people trying to get their clips and negatively affecting everyone else's gameplay when there's nothing left in it for them.

I've tried, it doesn't work. :( However, I have seen clips of people who have the phone scrap, and some sounds seem to be heard near the wall. But it's hard to tell, people were talking over it. I have yet to test the phone scrap

All of them want content and its not right to just sit watch one person long time after they die. But it also wasnt fair to ze for doing all that work to be left in the end. This was too much chaos with too many opportunities to troll. Especially the bell, after one time it fine but if someone disregards the rules they need to be ejected. I wanted to see how the mansion house would go but with this group but as we can all see can't even make it there. Its one thing if the game is against you its another when the team is also against you. Maybe limit the number of players next time or maybe assign roles so everyone doesn't step on the mine that was warned about 100 times. Parts of it was fine but others reminded me of mall kidzone where someone could scream and get hurt but no one would know just simply due to the nature of all the kids running around. I've seen other groups do this and in most cases if there is a goal stated at the beginning most work towards it with the trolls being thrown out. Ideally i think the max amount of people for this is 8, anymore and it hard to keep track of what is going on. There should also be state rules before entering the game like no voting unless dogs are outside the ship and have killed people, IF you see ghost girl don't panic and just head back to the ship. Other things i noticed were the inclination to dive deeper into the complex after having a large group of monsters chase your friends, those things have lock on abilities like no other, and the returning after 4pm on some planets that have long treks. I think you did get lucky by not encountering the outside monsters in the dark. Overall it was fun to watch but the over the top chaos is probably not good for a long form video, It start to grind on me after an hour seeing the same things happen again and again. that is my opinion on it, tldr too much chaos for a goal based game, like too many explosions that Micheal Bay would complain.

Ze - I've really enjoyed your content for years and I like most of the people in this group, but... The frustration you felt starting at 1:08:13 was palpable, and rightly so. In general, whenever one or more players decide to abuse the voting system just because, "I'm bored, so I'm going to take away someone else's fun/content for the sake of thirty seconds I could *easily* edit out when I upload this to KZbin." It is absolutely a mark against those individuals, especially since it can sour an individual's and/or a group's mood/experience very rapidly. It's one thing to take someone out when it's PvP like in Among Us or Town of Salem, etc. (when it's the goal of the game!), but it's another thing entirely when everyone in the group is supposed to be working toward a common goal and one or more players decide to sabotage another player who is actively--visibly--working hard toward that goal. Again, I like the people in this group, but if someone doesn't have the attention span to actually play the bloody game, they shouldn't be playing it. -_-

platy’s been trying real hard to do the shortform, blitzy, 30-second rounds where there are an outrageous number of people who all die super quick (and thus lose) (because his objective isn’t to stay alive). the problem is being placed with people like chilled and ze who are more objective-focused and actually _want_ to play the game. platy only wants to be goofy and talk to chat. it’s infuriating to watch and i hope ze doesn’t join lobbies like these anymore. i’d rather watch him, chilled, and like… 3-4 other people try and win (excluding platy as he isn’t in it to try and actually _play_ the game).

If you type "view monitor" into the computer you can watch them through the computer. Where you can type in door, turret, and mine codes without switching back and forth.

20:13 It's amazing how many people can't follow *basic instructions*, like don't hit the bell until everything is on the desk so that the company can take it. Don't spam the bell so that the boss takes you into the back office as a dead corpse. Don't run dick first into danger at the home office. 🤦 Even simple requests like "*Please don't change the screen I'm monitoring.*" cannot be observed and respected for more than 2 seconds. It has to be quite the task for Platy to wrangle all of these children. 🥲

In fairness Platy has become one of those kids. He kind of ruined all of Zach's games by choosing to turn on hard mode without telling them last time when Zach only had a very limited time to play. And they basically got nothing accomplished because they just died over and over again while Platy cheated stuff into the lobby. He's just tasted too much of the modded lobbies. But I don't think he expected top-tier gaming out of this. They're creating content as well and inviting 20ish streamers, they know it's gonna be a shit show. That's the whole point.

And that's always depressing as a viewer, but it's just the content creator cycle. But Platy, Fooya and Zach were actually doing really well despite them being chaotic little goblins. I was surprised that Chilled and his 4 person group struggled infinitely more to make progress because they're usually a bit more focused. So I can be more forgiving that Platy wants to fuck around now lol.

Going into this you knew it was chaos but the Chilled group was trolling heavy with no person pushing to complete goals. @@ihavenoidea_whatimdoing3390​​⁠i honestly am fed up with platy, and it makes my heart break. when i first found him through chilled i adored his content. over the past year or so he has become entirely focused on talking to chat (and ignoring the game in front of him) and getting “goofy” easily digestible content. he rarely engages in among us (he actively mutes the group to talk to chat/ramble about whatever he’s thinking about, and then tunnels actual town/good people with minimal info), he rarely actively plays phasmo with jeremy (he does the same inactivity/focus on chat while jeremy carries them), and now he’s taking it to this game. i don’t mind watching goofy brainless content maybe once or twice. but i (personally) don’t get any enjoyment out of watching a game of a group of people just dying over and over and over again within the first few seconds (while some of the people are trying to actually succeed and the others are just jumping to kill themselves, or smashing a button to get eaten by a monster). i don’t mind chilled’s lobbies where being goofy is the goal, because _everyone_ is in on it. but the problem i find now with platy is that he will bulldozes over other people because he’s bored and wants to move on. as others have said, he needs an adrenaline fix with his adhd, and as an adhd’er, it makes me beyond irritated for people like ze who are playing to actually play.
