We took the Singapore Cruise to Nowhere, and here's how it went!

I was on that cruise on 6 to 8 Nov. I was told that they were short of staffs when I asked the manager. There were still many staffs serving their quarantine at that time. More have since returned to serve the guests. I went as again on 20 to 22 Nov. There was great improvements to the services such as: 1) you can go later in the day from 4pm to do the swap test as most passengers have done their. 2) more staffs now. More organized now. Shorter waiting time. 3) Fast checking in & out. 4) great improvement in the food compare to the 1st cruise. I must say, they are doing their best to serve and improve. Way to go! They all deserve a good tap on their shoulder. I am not writing this to help them to promote. I just write what is happening.

I waited for a ice water for 20 mins.. eventually decided to approach the waiter and ask him for the pot of water , so I could pour it for myself... totally under staff...😑😑 6.Nov trip.. Food variety... BIG TIME FAILURE...

Thanks for posting your cruise experience during pandemic times...the first one I have come across for the Singapore cruise. Very good points you made which hopefully the cruise line will take note. I read that Royal Carribean Quantum Singapore cruise starting in Dec will have touchless payments ( and lower cost transactions will not require receipt ), which I'm surprised Genting did not have. Hope to see you on the RC cruise and we can then make comparisons. I'm very sure the RC one will far exceed the Genting cruise in terms of service and safety protocols. They are known for their excellent customer service.

I also went there ,this year in January and enjoyed hello alott.. had many. Dance ..drinks.. plays.. and good people but my company was boring ..well somehow I managed to cope up and stayed positive by enjoying in myself

Thanks G! I am happy you enjoyed the video! All Wi-Fi on board is chargeable. As I remember, the cheapest one is 9$ per day, and you can only purchase it for the whole cruise (not on a day by day basis). I didn’t purchase Wi-Fi, and occasionally picked up cellular signal from Malaysia.

It is hard to believe Genting also owns a very expensive cruiseline called Crystal. That should have been a trial test cruise at no cost like they are planning to do in North America. So depressing. Yes there is, but it's chargeable. If I remember correctly, the cheapest package was 9$ per day, and can only be purchased for the entirety of the cruise.

Staff serving drinks at 12 n 6 floor claimed that juice dispenser were down.. yet I realized that another staff at 7 floor were promoting fruit juice package.. omg.. We asked for a ice plain water.. but was serve with a room temperature direct from tap water.. it's crazy..was a very bad experience.

I am not actually sure, since we bought the package. You will get some free water in your room and in the restaurants, and what I read is that additional water bottles would cost 2$. I hope you have a wonderful cruise!
