In recent weeks and months, Trump has attempted to highlight issues he sees in Biden's cognitive abilities calling his opponent sleepy, stumbling and not up to the job. To prove he's a stronger fit, Trump has been bragging about his results in a cognitive test (MoCA), so in this video, we took the test to see how hard it is and what it's really meant for.

Yes, Socrates popular quote: I know that I know nothing! Trump: Nobody knows anything better than me. New quote from Mar-a-Lago after the election: "If George Washington became president again and had Abraham Lincoln as vice president, they couldn't keep up with me". @@anjaoldnettle2841 Poor RBG... I should have adjusted my quote. Obnoxious loudmouth egotists are rarely intelligent, otherwise they would be more humble in recognition of their own faults. They would not presume to know best. Sadly, the political system favours egotists. Trump, like many 'wealthy' people, has grown up with people fawning over him and laughing at his crap jokes and being afraid to disagree with him because they are afraid of him. Technically, that person could as well be the smartest person in the room. We can't tell that from the statement alone. I’m 60, and have recently done a test similar to this, and was referred to the hospital for tests, as I didn’t do great. I have a friend, who I have known for 40yrs, and his Alzheimer’s has escalated quite quickly, in the past year. He’s forgotten so much, and it’s heartbreaking. He was a 🇬🇧 politician for 40yrs, and hardly remembers any of it! And before that, he worked down the mine, as an electrician. When I spoke to him, on the phone last night, about 9.30pm, he told me he had just gotten up, and had breakfast. When I told him it was night time, he was quite confused. An hour and half later, he said, “ right, I’m going to nip out and get some batteries”. I told him it was nighttime, and again, he was confused. As I realise that my memory is slowly going, and am not sure what I’m doing, when it comes to simple tasks, it scares me. I used to be a uni lecturer, ( can’t remember the words to put here) teaching I.T. Now, I don’t know how to use my laptop. 😢 But one thing about it all, is that we both laugh, especially when we both forget the same thing. My fella says we are both nuts, and we agree!😂 60 is young to have the beginning of dementia. So, if you know someone with memory issues, encourage them to see their GP.

Not many answers here are willing to "admit" missing any of those questions. Well done for having the courage to spak up. Can I add that I bombed that question of remembering the list of thimgs a bit further into the test. (I'm 72) So I gues I might be on that slippery slope as well. Hands sometimes don't ant to work, forget what I'm saying half way through a sentence etc as well. I just wish it'd bloody well hurry up and get so bad that I forget that I'm forgetting. (not joking, that's what I reckon would be a blessing. Loss of awareness of such things happening would remove that period where you get frustrated at what's happening .... well that's what I'm hoping for anyway) Back to Trump n Biden I'd much prefer having someone who has a decent team around him as his age related problems happen than a bunch of yes men But my big question is "who would want Trump as a role model for our youth? A guy who thinks it's OK to molest women, who lies thousands of times during his presidency, who happily breaks the law if it will enrich him". Imagine your daughter says "Hey dad, {insert name here} wants to take me for a drive this evening. I hope you don't mind. But don't worry dad, Donald Trump is his hero, his role model. Agreed. Absolutely rambling. Top minds are still trying, with little success, to figure out what he said in this legendary offering: “Look, having nuclear - my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart - you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I’m one of the smartest people anywhere in the world - it’s true! - but when you’re a conservative Republican they try - oh, do they do a number - that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune - you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged - but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me - it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are - nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what’s going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? - but when you look at what’s going on with the four prisoners - now it used to be three, now it’s four - but when it was three and even now, I would have said it’s all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don’t, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years - but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible.”- Donald J Trump, Magnolia Hall, Sun City, July 2015.

I have to take this test or one very similar in my annual Medicare physician appointment, often given by a medical assistant. At 73, I didn’t miss anything. But sadly, my husband had problems as he had dementia at the time & has now been diagnosed with Post Cortical Atrophy (PCA); a form of Alzheimer’s which affects messages coming to & from the eyes.

First: the test is not difficult because every must be able to do it. As you stated it’s not to measure intelligence but cognitive decline. Second: Trump did the test some years ago. In the beginning I thought he took it recently, but that’s not the case Third: that trump thought it was difficult is, in my eyes, a sign that at the time he was tested he could be in an early stage of Alzheimer. Fourth: why did he take the test. Who thought it would be a good idea. And final, rambling and falling over ones words can be a sign. Unless that person did that his whole life. And when you are doing the test, you can find it everywhere, and you fail on some parts, that doesn’t mean you have dementia. For example I have visual-spatial problems and dyscalculia. I can do the first question, but it take me longer than other parts. I also can’t remember numbers or counting back with 7. But when this was discovered I just got my propedeuse econometrics, cum laude. So not dement. I’m 67.

Jannet Berends, you are right, the test is not difficult but the test Trump took was a loaded test, loaded in Trump's favour that is. The five words that he continuously brags about being able to remember are related in that person, man, woman means that you only have to remember the word person and the other two will be easy to recall and TV and camera are obviously related especially to a TV host as Trump once was. The test taken by the two employees shown in this video used a proper sequence of unrelated words, and no I can't remember them. Trump cheating on his test again?
