We always love to watch your travels and adventures! Excellent job recording and producing. We sold our 22’ TT this fall and bought a ‘21 Reflection 315RLTS which we absolutely love. So we can imagine we look a lot like you all going down the road. On our second trip in it, I heard a lot of creaking and popping while getting to our campsite. Thinking it was extra loud and abnormal, I spent some time trying to figure it out. Didn’t seem to be our leveling hitch either. Found that the bolts in the shackles of our CRE3000 were a bit dry. There are zerts on the inside ends that I pumped full of grease, about 5 per side, and rode much quieter on the way home. Probably prolongs the life of them too! Looking forward to more episodes. We will probably never vlog, but our rigs name is Grace, and our tag is Living with Grace. Which is a good goal in life! God bless.

Thanks so much for watching and congratulations on your new Grand Design! That is a great layout! Thanks for the info about the bolts. @FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! My advice about capturing footage with a drone is that you need to learn how to fly the drone really well first before trying to capture videos or photos. Once you are really comfortable flying and getting the drone to move the way you want for a scene, the easier it is to capture what you want. Hope that helps! So glad you have been enjoying the videos! Thanks for watching!

Appreciate your towing tips mate, we are from New Zealand, and just brought a reasonably big caravan for New Zealand standards and we are taking up some rugged stretch of coast about 4 hrs from home, some big hills, some metal roads and windy and narrow sections. You all are such cool, wonderful people. I just love your family. Question for you, I have been seeing online and in publications etc. that buying an RV is a money waster. That they are cheaply made and have lots of problems that need to be repaired and basically that they are just a waste of money and time because of this. I f you don't mind what have you experienced with any of this. Thank you guys, you are such a joy to watch.
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
I think as with every purchase, you need to know what the money investment is going to give you in return. An RV is a depreciating asset, but for us, it is our home and what it has given to our family in experiences and memories is invaluable. We went with a Grand Design 4 years ago because they had a good reputation for using durable products in their builds and were rated for full time. After 4 years in our same Reflection, we can attest to the durability and quality of RV. There are many options out there so do your research. At this point, the money we spent on our 35ft travel trailer has been the best money we have ever spent! 😃

Sadly for you, the most exciting part has been closed and rerouted, Devils Slide...hundreds of feet up on the land side, and hundreds of feet down on the ocean side...I use to live in Pacifica(30yrs ago), so the PCH and Devils Slide were part of my everyday life... Skyline Blvd(Hwy 35) is another great drive...it's between Hwy 1, and 280...
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
Lots of people have recommended Devils Slide. Bummer that it is closed. We will have to look up Skyline Blvd. Thanks for the recommendation!

Great video footage once again. Ok what is your secret with filming fr the drone while your driving down the highway? Just watch you all on LJMJ removing the window and getting that couch in their rig.
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! I drone while Jess drives! And we had fun getting that couch in! Thankful the window made it back in unscathed!

I just love the Redwoods. Wish these trees grew here in OK. We have all kinds of cedar, maple and scrub oak. Hubby is going hunting the Friday after Thanksgiving. When he's gone I'm going to drive 45 minutes into the biggest town close to us to checkout smokers, maybe I'll get a good Black Friday Deal.
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
We do, too! Can't wait to share our time in the park in this Sunday's video! Hope your hubby gets lucky on his hunt and a new smoker is always a good idea! Thanks for watching!

We notice that you like first come first serve rv places. Do you have a backup just in case?

We do! Our backup is whatever is father down the road! You just have to be willing to go with the flow. It has always worked well for us! 👍

Can you post your itinerary on this trip and what campgrounds you stopped at. Planning on making this drive in the spring
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
All of our campgrounds and stops are listed in the videos! We started this video at Westport-Union Landing State Beach Campground and we ended at Big Lagoon County Park! We use the Campendium App and the AllStays app to find campgrounds in the areas that we travel through! Hope that helps!

How does that Denali HD not have tow mirrors?? God bless you, I’m just used to big truck mirrors and towing mirrors on the last 3 HD pickups I’ve had. Currently have a Grand Design Reflection 311BHS with a 2021 Ford DRW King Ranch. Enjoy your channel🥰
@FindingOurSomeday3 жыл бұрын
We have talked about this in a couple episodes. We bought the truck used and planned on added them after the fact but at the time, the process was ridiculous. You had to rip apart the door and dash to connect all the wire harnesses. I have heard that it is easier now, but I am so used to driving it now with our rear camera and current mirrors that it isn't a priority. Thanks so much for watching! The King Ranch is a good looking truck!👊

So awesome you all get to “experience” the coast, sf and the vibe in California - contrary to the bad rap, I love the Bay Area…. Born and raised in SSF, if you head back through So. City check out La Tapatia and Little Lucca ✌🏼
