Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY , we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

Excellent video! Really enjoyed observing the 4 of you. If I had to choose, it would be the Van because driving a bus would be too difficult almost anywhere but on highways. The van is more climate controlled, quiet and has 2 seats up front. Yet… the BUS is so much more functional for daily living/working, food prep (great when you’re vegan/vegetarian), lots of available water and has a comfortable looking bed already set up. Might not have thought that way 30 years ago, but now as Seniors with health issues, it would matter. Would like to see more vehicle swaps!

Wow, they both are so awesome! The bus driving, with no seat belts made me nervous. My favorite part of it was the beautiful shower - to die for! And the size of the kitchen:) And the bed made up all of the time, and the roof deck!. But I would have to go with the van because of the size. I am only one person. I will have to figure out how to have a stationary bed though. I would feel much more comfortable driving it, parking it, etc! What a fun exchange - great video! I definitely prefer to live in a van, because if I want a motorhome it is because the flexibility it gives me, not just space. I rather have a home somewhere and travel by the van for a month or so. I like the luxury of taking long showers ;)

I would go crazy having everything fly open every time I make a turn! And having to permanently lower my head, just to live in my own home. Is a deal breaker! A converted used city bus sounds like a much better solution for this tall guy. Off roading might require some modifications to ground clearance. Fuel savings is a plus. I think some even run on natural gas.

I would choose the van, especially if I am on my own. I currently don't travel at ALL, but I wanna go to the US at some point and travel all around US visit ever state. and I wanna visit every province in Canada. Currently I work in construction, so it would be nice to have a warm place to be in for an hour or so lol. Just casually on my break chilling in a bed!
