Great release from Billy on that 4lber, fishing a spinner I wouldn't just reel. When I get my monsters it's from pumping the rod. Not telling you what to do but a consistent retrieve has never worked like pumping and pausing for me

US lakes are so pressured and allowing bass fishing during spawn is nuts. let em breed and you get more fish. every time you yank them off the bed eggs are un guarded, and / or could kill the fish like the one that was bleeding.
