My hubby and I are enjoying this and it is a great reminder not to take for granted what we enjoy here in WA. We have a family vacation house on Orcas Island, WA and take the ferry all the time. Grew up on the outer banks and never knew there were ferries you couldn’t take your car on until I went off to college. The one thing they didn’t show in the outer banks show but it’s how we “drive” between islands

My husband proposed but the river at Snoqualmie falls. Mariners games are so fun! And those trees are called evergreen. There are some cedar trees in there but it’s mainly pine trees and evergreens. That’s why Washington is also called the Evergreen State. Been a Washingtonian my entire life. Also, my first time driving into the ferry by myself was scary even though I’ve been on them a million times before. Yall should have gone up to the deck outside to look for jellyfish. It’s so fun!

I used to live by Seattle 5 years ago and I took those ferry boats all the time! There are a couple select ones in the mornings that put out puzzles for the passengers to do. Ferries (the boat LOL) are a normal thing here. I live on Vancouver Island Canada so if we want to go to the mainland we have to take the ferry. Your stop in Canada will probably be Victoria. It’s a beautiful city. I live 50 miles up island from Victoria. It might surprise you but Vancouver Island is a very large island.

Like Seattle, I went there last year for our anniversary, took our daughter. Haven't been back since It reminds me a lot of Portland in some ways, in some ways, it's not. There is a lot of bums. Around downtown, I did notice that but there is important too. That's what happens when you live in a huge city. But I like it there. My niece lives in a place. Out of seattle, her husband's a nurse and she's a teacher
