(Baker here) the trick with the 3rd game, you have to have your hand on the handle, palm facing down with the pointer finger holding the handle vertically to keep the utensil flat against the surface so it doesn't grip the chips edge. Bakers use this technique to distribute frosting and condiments (peanut butter, nutella, jam, etc) on top of cakes and pasteries evenly. You can also use a metal cooking spatula for that game :) any thing with an angled handle and flat tip.
