Italian style wedding soup is good IF it’s done right. I’ve found most aren’t, sadly. Most need loads of salt to make them ok for me. Juniper is definitely one of those aromas or flavors that’s acquired. It’s a conifer so it’s like walking in a forest, but can be perceived as stinky to many. I am in the essential oil industry & that was one that took me a while to appreciate. Your faces with the macarons 😂😂. You just kept saying nope, no, nope 😂. Thanks for taking one for the team.

Lol I saw those Macarons in the freezer section and they sounded so gross! I was right! Meanwhile I LOVE the regular ones with fig, apricot, etc as a nightly three day treat! I hope you’ll continue doing some TJ hauls/taste tests - they are so helpful and fun! It is a bummer to have to sit through other TJ content creators who are quite annoying.

Pao Aqua - bread of water.. Portuguese Pops.. imagine if you love those.. you'll understand in southeastern massachusetts.. why there is an hour or so line out the portuguese bakeries for these 'pops'.. warmed with butter.. a staple growing up!

That was a really great taste test! I don't eat a lot of bread because of my diabetes, but some of those just sound amazing. Especially the one with the olives! And I'm so excited about the wedding soup, just like tim, I'm a big fan of it so I'll definitely have to try it! Big hugs!

I tried the dried cantaloupe, like that it isn’t sweet but the great thing about cantaloupe is that it is juicy. It is ok. The boozy macaroons are not available in my store! No liquor allowed, dang! I was so looking forward to them. Loved the Elote salad.

It’s so good to see you again doing the Trader Joe’s haul and the taste test! Two new items that you should get next time are the stir fry garlicky cabbage, and the riced hearts of palm. Both are really good! The stir fried garlic cabbage is very, very garlicky!

I enjoy all your haul/taste test videos, I know what I’ll be looking for on my next trip to Trader Joe’s. We have similar eaters in the household, I’m a pescatarian, while my partner eats everything, except olives. I really appreciated your honest review of those boozy macarons (I got a laugh out of it), I would have reacted the same way. Good to know about the dried cantaloupe, I’ll pass. I wish I passed on those dried watermelon jerky snacks, not great. Thanks for sharing.

Germany and Austria have the greatest dark breads, most Europeans countries have awesome bread!!! May I ask, are your glasses still available? I love the double glass look of them!

When Tim talks about the "vinegar taste of olives" he is probably talking about green olives. They normally use black Kalamata olives in olive bread.

Great taste test. They have had the dried cantaloupe at our store for a couple of weeks. It never really appealed to me and I’m certainly glad I didn’t buy them. The bread is at the top of my list along with the salad. Loved the look on your face when you tried the macaroons . Have a wonderful week. 😊

If you like the elote salad, you should try Taylor farms mexican street corn salad. I found it at Sprouts. It was really good. I will have to try the elote one next time I go to trader Joe's.

I've been eyeing the Boozy Macarons but haven't bought them yet. They were still at my local TJ's as of yesterday. I'm not a fan of straight-up booze, so I probably won't get them. Did you feel buzzed or tipsy after eating them? I bought the soup and salad before watching your video, so I was pleased to see them on there. Am looking forward to eating them this upcoming week. Our Italian bakery used to have the best olive bread but now they only sell a hard variety 😢 Glad TJs has this soft version even if I have to drive 2 hours to get it

If you’re asking about the olive bread I just popped it in the toaster oven at 350 for about 2 min. If you’re asking about the focaccia flatbread, I just followed the directions on the back. 😊

The Trader Joe reviews are fine but I am really enjoying the Aldi and other store reviews. I don't go to Trader Joe's as often as Aldi. (I tried those Asiago cheese crisps and LOVE them)
