this is great move from DITO, this kills the Home prepaid wifi of Globe and Smart, though DITO coverage Signal Tower is still on limited sites/area, this a great deal if you know you are near a DITO tower.

Plus for Postpaid DITO Home 1490 and for Prepaid a One Time Payment for the 5G Modem which cost 4990 + 1090 Prepaid Promo for the UNLI 5G. Which the speed can reach up to 500+ MBPS, unlike FIBER PLDT or Globe which you need to pay 2.5k to have 500mbps Speed.

DITO is really fast in some parts of Cebu City . Akala nila nkawired connection ako kasi walang lags during meetings amd even streaming in netflix and fb lives. Yun pala naka mobile hotspot lang devices ko from my phone

AFAIK, hindi po sila magbebenta kung hindi abot ng 5G ang area nyo. That's what I was told the last time nagpunta ako sa experience store nila. Not sure now kung mag bago sa policies, kasi may pupuntang technician to check your area. And yes, kung biglang magka prob ang 5G sa lugar, it will use 4G as fallback.

I think its not good the upspeed is low. Since you will need constant upload when okaying it. The speed is not fiberlike. Its more like mobile phone hotspot speed

This won't work for WFH setup and heavy users. Clearly some people don't know the difference between data capping and data throttling. The unlimited plan doesn't have data cap but it does have data throttling. Means after 800 mbps your internet speed will slowdown. Checked my phone's usage last month and it's already 156 GB. What if pa ung WFM laptop ko na connected through company VPN.

Duh, Everything will be limited if there will be people who keep abusing low rates UNLI DATA, just like how Smart UNLI DATA 199 started to increased their prices because they see alot of people inserting their SIM Cards on Pocket WIFI and even HOME Cellular Modems to use for multiple devices which would leave the Telco losses. Being abusive to an affordable promo or any affordable products is one of the worst Filipino Traits ever.

Bug or marketing strategy nila na unli daw pero meron pala data cap. Walang mag comment na meron data cap na bumaba speed nila if hindi nila Ito naranasan. Wag tayo manluko para lang magka pera. Sabihin nyo kung anong totoo..

Kung may Dito 5G Network na sa Buong Pinas sure dadami ang kukuha nito imbes na aasa sa StarLink, hindi daw kasi yan gagana sa mga Lugar na wala pang Dito 5G... FYI need Wifi-6 Capable ang Phone para ma reach ang 500mpbs ayon sa ibang KZbinr, at may Data Capping after ma reach ang 500GB/1TB then the speed will slow down in-between 10mbps-80mbps... 😅

Actually its called Data Throttling and not Data Capping. And yes, DITO have 500gb data consumption limit for Unli 5G for both postpaid and prepaid connection. After consuming the said data allocation within a month, your speed will drop down to just 10mbps and will return to normal speed the next month. :)

About time the Philippines adopts this wireless internet system, we've been using this here in Saudi for the past ten years now. But of course, their not cheating us with data capping, we really enjoy true wireless - unlimited internet here with our STC service. In here, you have the option to buy antenna for the modem to boost ur signal.
