I am from nepal I have tried biryani from two place in Lucknow and Hyderabad rest I haven’t tried ..but Hyderabadi biryani is just wow ..sadly here in nepal there are some restaurants selling in name of hyderbadi biryani but no one can beat original biryani in Hyderabad..I just miss 😣

Kolkata biriyani is very subtle in taste with a big alu and egg and with mutton/chicken. Come to Kolkata you will taste our style prawn biriyani, hilsa biryani 😋. Kolkata biryani is basically the awadhi biriyani. And best is to visit Oudh for biriyani to taste awadhi food. Along with aminia, And for street food - it's uncountable in our city.

Being self appointed number 1 biriyani taster in India I can easily say that KOLKATA biriyani is the best biriyani in India... It's unique as no where else u get a PC of Potato....the taste is unique and subtle... Non oily... Simply delishh...

KOLkata biriyani is the closest if not better than Lucknowi biriyani which is the most authentic biriyani DUM style... And just to add a fun fact that in kolkata you will find a big piece of potato in your biriyani... Thanks
