We tried everything to break this knife and FAILED | Breaking our best knife...

Last week we tested the $20,- Mora Companion Heavy Duty to it's limits! This week we try a custom made knife in exactly the same way! A knife 10 times the price and 10 times the steel (k390).
K390 is one of the craziest steel we own! But at 67 HRC it's much harder than the C100 from MoraKniv at 58-60HRC. So how will it do in these test! Find out!

@@codyprescher1857 It is a beast. A little bit heavy for its size, but I actually like that. Quite hard to sharpen, but with normal use you don’t need to. I sharpenned it once after some use and only stropping after that. 100% worth the wait.

You guys were being a little generous with mora 58-60 I've seen 56-58 don't think I've came across a HRC of 60 on any mora I've had. Now to be honest I haven't bought a mora in a few years but the softness wasn't a issue because they are for wood anyway but I've never seen a mora i couldn't sharpen with any stone anything above 59 is very hard an that equals harder to sharpen. Nice shootin tex, I really like feather sticks with the brick 🤯🤠🧐

Thanks a lot! 58-60 is according to their own writing about their carbon steels. The stainless moras should be 56-58. I wouldt find it strange if the carbons are around 58 though. It would indeed still be fine for what they're made for

What? 67HRC? I really wonder how Dulo heat treats his knives. According to the steel specification K390 gets to max 66 HRC and thats without tempering, after tempering the ideal range is around 64. That means either its done outside of the range of the specification (and seeing how it lasted it was done well) or theres a lie somewhere. I would really like to know because im in the process of making my own K390 knife and this information would help me.

Hi guys I have a bacho orange handle knife that I use for work and let me tell ya, it says on the package that you can hit it with a hammer and I used it from cutting real hard ceramic type tiles to demolition and its nast looking now but I'll tell ya, it's still going, it's one tuff knife
