I just got on the website to double check prices of stickers for shits and giggles. A 21 pack of stickers is 22 bucks. They got 4 packs for 10, and single stickers are sold for no more than 5ish dollars. I don’t think that’s nearly as wild as 15 dollars just for a single sticker to cover your push start button. 😂 markup is wild.

Random add on. It's been a while since I've read this, but the tallest building in the world has aluminum panels towards the top. Those panels are held on by a special 3M double sided tape. The heat expansion of the aluminum would pop off rivets or bolts, but the tape can stretch with it.

@@CorvusCorone68 I just looked at their website and yes...they ARE '50 State Compliant'....but that's emissions only and I see nothing about noise. With CA cops ticketing even STOCK exhaust equipped cars because they 'think' they're too loud...it's a massive hassle and they're just doing it to harass performance motorists. Even if you go and pass the noise test you still have significant costs and have to go to traffic court to get the ticket removed. And remember the fellow with the Hyundai R who got a noise ticket...but was in a bind because the dealership said there was nothing to 'fix'...and the noise testing station wouldn't even let him test without a receipt that he'd 'fixed' the exhaust. Why anyone stays in Commiefornia is beyond me.

If those fake hood pins have actual VHB tape, and the other end it mounted somewhere solid, they probably would be strong enough to hold it shut if the hood latch failed. VHB tape is no joke. On the down side, you are never getting that off the hood without destroying the paint underneath.

I had hood pins on my ‘80s Daytona. They were legit ones, and probably the best looking thing on the car. The radiator support was crushed in a front end accident, bumper and hood replaced, but the hood latch no longer lined up, so hood pins to the rescue! 😅
