Hello everyone! Today we'll show you a 1 day experience in Tokyo as we explore Sunshine City Mall and Shinjuku, all in one exciting day.
🍳 McDonald's Japanese Breakfast: Our adventure begins with a breakfast stop at McDonald's where we try out their scrambled eggs and pancakes. We think McDonald's Japan is at another level. It was so good for the price!
🛍️ Pokémon Galore: After breakfast, we hit up the Pokémon store and got lost in a world of plushies, toys, and games. A must-visit for any Pokémon fan!
☕ Pikachu Café: Not far from there, we find ourselves at the Pikachu Café, tasting some delightful Pokémon-themed dishes that are almost too cute to eat.
🥩 Kobe Beef Yakiniku: Still at Sunshine City Mall, we grabbed lunch at a Kobe beef Yakiniku place! We believe the dining experience in private rooms makes it a lot more comfortable! Kobe beef is good in terms of the buttery texture, but we don't think you should go in with too much hype and expectation (in our opinions). It does taste beefy, but we wouldn't say that it is mind-blowing.
🍈 Takashimaya Times Square: After lunch, we visited Takashimaya Times Square and found a high-end grocery store in the basement. We splurged on some expensive fruits, but unfortunately some of the fruits was a bit dry. However, they do taste quite sweet!
🍜 Ichiran Ramen for Dinner: Next up, Shinjuku! We slurped up some delicious Ichiran Ramen. We believe the soup base itself was very rich in flavour. The desserts and drinks can be a bit pricier than what you can buy outside though (ie. McDonald's).
🌃 Kabukicho Nightlife: We closed out the night wandering through Kabukicho and stumbled upon a mesmerizing 3D cat billboard that you need to see to believe.
