​@@anthonythomson4545I have a 98 extended cab that I have been wrenching on as the budget allows ...just stuck some 15 x 10in jegs race stars( the black ones ) on the back and 15 x 8 on front....running a 275 60 in rear and a 235 on the front ....been putting most my money in replacing all the front end balk joints tie rod ends etc..threw a set of slotted and drilled rotors on the front and some top shelf pads ....doing rebuild on rear drums at end of month gonna replace everything with new parts ....plan is to stick a v8 in it 4.3 auto at moment runs like a top with 268000 on the counter ....did do a tyranny rebuild at 190000 but have owned 3 of these same trucks 96 98 and a 2000 all extended cabs all 4.3 autos .....pretty tuff little trucks in my opinion and I like the body style ...wanted do a ls swap but probably just gonna buy a 350 or 400 block take it to a machine shop for a wash and hone put her on a motor stand out in my little work shop and throw parts at when I can afford to......looked at a 327 on local sales today but guy thinks because it came in a corvette the price should be the same as if you were getting the whole car ....it looks be a good block no heads has crank and pistons in it but needs a rebuild 1000 dollars little steep I thought for a block with no accessories, heads, or intake but numbers did match up to a 67 327 h.o.

A old 4 speed will jam in 3rd you have to get under it unhook the rods rock it and put both plates in the straight down position and reconnect everything it should be fine then mine used to do it all the time
