If i remember right those ignition boxes need to be bolted down to ground. I could be wrong. Its been 20 years since ive worked on one of those old carb'd fords.

That looks like a old 390 big block by size of those valve covers I had a chance to get one a long time ago like this it was a 68 f100 with home made tow truck with same bed and a 390 big block and a 4-speed in floor but never bought it , I had a 78 f100 351w and man that damn truck would just burn the tires off of it so easy but I could as easy watch the gas hand go down 😂 I wish so badly i kept it , I love chevy but I do like Ford's too

Nice,got it turned over and it ran..Your son yelling for you as Maco chases him ,but having the jump box and all those open wires bring me back to when I was 23yrsold owing a 1972 Impala catching fire in a snow storm.Long story short poppeda glass fuse wrapped it in a tin foil gum wrapper,went inside for a few minutes came out to hop in open the door dash blazing and kissed that beauty good by..so seeing you as normal with open wires crushes my soul.. First thing to fix is the engine is in backwards that’s why the back wheels wouldn’t move. Distributor goes against the firewall lol. Like w0men they’re all the same if they’re standing on their head, so working on a ford is the same but a little different. You got it. This could make some great content!

Now if you get that truck working good then you're gonna have to go to work, and with that truck you can make some big money

Thats a strong engine all need 15w20 oil and tune up with elbro carb and headers that truck last you forever long dont dog it
