Because Thailand has many tourists. Then there are many pickpocketers from neighber country come here. Especially from 🇰🇭Cambodia. Please take care of your bag.....And please don't give money to beggars, they come from 🇰🇭Cambodia too.

I’m in Bangkok and this is the only tour I did. It was so nice to Lear the way the local Thai people live and to support their business. I enjoyed all of it!

The train market is hell on earth! Lloyd I couldn’t imagine what it would of been like after a brownie 🫠
I just adore your videos! You both are so chill and so informative and thorough. Thank you so much for taking us along to places most of us will never get to see.

Really enjoyed seeing those tours. Ive got several tours booked on my Get Your Guide for Thailand next month. I might even bump into you both and buy you a beer!! Apparantly everyone raves about trying the Pad Krapow. Mark Weins even has his own Pad Krapow Franchise store right next to Ekkamai MRT. Id love nothing more to see Lloyd smash out his Extra Hot Pad Krapow. Nothing like seeing a grown man cry lol. Love your work team!!

Wow looks cool. Though 200 for 2 sticky Rice 😮 seems expensive. We used to pay 50-70 in the Centre of Bangkok. Do you think is more expensive than your first trip a Year ago?

I did take this tour from Bangkok at the suggestion from my ex. It was worth it one my first trip. I opted for a tour operator and got picked up by a van. A few pick-ups later the van was full and assumed going straight to Damnoen Saduk. What eventually happened is careless driver ignored traffic signals at busy intersection and I braced myself for impact. We got t-boned by three cars who had right of way and stuck in van for 45 mins. After no apologies, we walked from accident scene to tour operators central operations which luckily only 200 meters. We boarded another van and I did enjoy the excursion at this market. This was my first time. Moving forward many years later, there are so many better floating markets that are actually authentic and limited to certain days of the week. I'm not going to lie, Damnoen is a must do if your time is limited. DONT USE A VAN SERVICE. If you're flexible, research an authentic floating market that doesn't cater to tourist. I'd only consider Damnoen as a spare morning if you a few days in Kachanaburi.

Actually, Anthony Bourdain did not go to Damnoen Saduak floating market (which is like the typical tourist trap), but to Amphawa floating market and Taling Chan floating market.

We did that tour about a week from now, last year. It definitely seemed a lot more crowded now than it was a year ago. I also liked the boat tour a lot more than the train market. It was neat to see them pack it all up when the train came by though.

Your guide June was appealingly fast on her feet. That train went right over the market’s displays! Just right over them! Gee, think of all the dirt from the cars’ undercarriages that gets on fruits and veggies. Yikes! 😮

fairuzhussain9113, were Lloyd and Mandy nice to you, or did you interact with them at all? I ❤ love ❤ it when the people I encounter in real life are as nice as they appear to be online, and/or if they are as nice as they always say they will be, when people come up to them. Then again, I have learnt never to get my hopes up, either.
