We tried the BRUTAL Ironman Challenge and it was INSANE - Featuring BrianEvts

This is one of the ironman variants I came up with when I originally came up with the ironman challenge, and I'm finally getting to it with this video.
The original progression I had in mind was ironman, hardcore ironman (eclipsed), brutal ironman (brutal company), and ironman kaizo (brutal company AND eclipse). Those were the most difficult challenges I could think of at the time, but now that I know more about the game and many more mods have been added to the community arsenal, I've been tackling the ironman ideas in different ways that I think work better than just that progression.
I still think the Brutal Ironman is fun, but I have different ideas in mind for the kaizo variant since there are way more difficult variations of the challenges than brutal company with eclipse enabled.
Brian shared with me that he's down to run any challenge I can come up with, so I'll be outputting more of these moving forward!

Yeah the inherent lag from spawning in 10x as many entities (turrets/mines/enemies) is the biggest reason I don’t run any of the Brutal Company versions. A couple runs were ended similarly to yours where an input wasn’t registered due to massive frame drops. It’s a shame too because the core changes do seem fun and challenging. Also regarding the beehive outdoor collecting, there’s many spots on the front of the ship railing where you can safely drop beehives like that. Makes running/collecting them much less stressful!

@@_nyo_5350 the problem is that I *want* the chaos of all the extra spawns and stuff, it’s just the game engine in its current state can’t handle it (it’s not a GPU/CPU issue either.

@@crewincorporated This run wasn't an "official" run, more like a showcase. They even say so multiple times, including when they team wipe and don't make quota later on. As for the rules, based on previous runs he has done with teammates, it seems that deaths are OK as long as it isn't a full team wipe. So it's fine if just one of you lives. Of course, this means zero deaths if you're playing solo. But at the end of the day, these are just his ideas for this challenge - it's up to you if you wanna use them, or use some of your own.

Sandworms are programmed to spawn in front of you, so if you turn around and immediately go the other way you avoid them MUCH easier

Hey sheff! I found pro strats you can optimize on the titan spiral stairs. If you jump onto the diagonal railings and scoot up a bit then jump to the next one, it has potential to be way faster.

I have a good bad news Good news - u can use jet pack to carry inventory specially in titan for your speed run, u simply have to jump when the ship is landing on titan and go to the main entrance U should learn to survive mobs , Nut crackers , thumpers , Jester , bracken,dogs are fodder if u learn and time your dodge patterns like Dark souls , obviously don't be overconfident Mean while Giants, girls , spiders,turrets are still hard to deal with I have seen a guy with no upgrades but a shovel end thumpers and braken as if he is in minecraft creative mode U don't even need to use ladders when using jetpack This can (Will) REALLY change the game U can buy noobs torches for distracting dogs U can also maybe buy boom box Not sure how that works Bad news : in future I will complete with u , and u will get demolished Lil bro 🗣🗣🗣🗣
