Momma Cramling is definitely a GM. She takes one look and starts planning 4 steps ahead with multiple possibilities, weighing each scenario, then choosing the best move. Playing the center, planning blacks possible strategies. Absolutely impressive logic.

​ @jtidema "I think they probably play together closer to 2700" Doesn't work that way either. There's no addition, average, trending, or sum of ELO ratings. Best moves in any group often comes from player with highest ELO rating. Likewise, player with only 200 (two hundred) ELO points more from it's opponent have roughly 75% chance to win the game. With that in mind, Pia has a roughly 90% chances to win every chess game against her daughter. Considering very dubious early queen move from bot (most likely calculated and played to "confuse" opponent), both sides played excelent positional game.

She is a lovely young woman, and a delight to hear her expound on her passion. I’m a little disappointed frankly that she was born in Spain to a Spanish father as Señorita Lopez, and chose to dye her hair blonde and call herself Swedish after her mom but that is her decision. But I’m sure Spain laments the loss.

I'm impressed about how much she is always thinking about the opponent's plans first. I'm 2300 and I'm sure I could improve if I manage to add this skill to my thinking process (Like I'm doing it but not at this level haha)! Even if the bot played dubious in the opening phase, I'm convinced about how instructive is the game and listening to the commentary. Thank you!

I really enjoy how vocal your mom is about her thoughts. Reminds me of math lectures where Profs explained every thought while conducting proofs. It makes it enjoyable to follow these fast and complex decision being made on the board

I just love how excited to play chess mother and daughter are. And how giddy they seem every time they make a move. Like they can barely contain their joy and not burst out laughing with every move. Awesome!

they’re so good it took me like 40min to get through the video bc i kept having to pause to play out mama cram’s hypotheticals bc i cant visualize chess notation and then once i comprehended what she was saying id need a moment to pog and recollect myself

Pia correctly predicted the 2700 bot's whole lines of moves including correctly predict how it's gonna respond to her response. Her brain is basically a 2700 chess engine here

You should let your mom do rapid Speedruns till 2300ish and teach us her repertoire and with her being so good at explaining we viewers would benefit a lot from those vids. Maybe your mom is too busy tho so just thought for food here
