One thing about that last shot, Cleet giving the trophy to one of the kids in the stands. I was literally that little kid at one point at a local circle track racing event, i still have the trophy too. One of the guys that won gave me the trophy and I will absolutely never forget that memory. Spanaway Speedway in Washington, they tore it down years ago unfortunately but it was one these types of events. Love that shit, i wish we still had more of them.

I worked for Indy Cylinder Head back in the day, we used to "break in" top fule motors for Joe Gibbs on our engine dyno from time to time. Probably the worst experence of my life. The exhaust is pure tear gas, it's so loud it hurts your chest, everything will burn you, and that blower belt will litterally rip your arm off.

I did some bracket racing in highschool, street pulls as I got older, maybe 50 1/4 mile runs in my life and seeing Cleet come this far is insane to watch. I mean them building a ten second car out of pretty much anything they want is super fast. 10 seconds is a bad ass car. Then to see cleet slowly make his way to 9,8,7 and now 6's in mullet is pretty standard. 100k motors and free floating rear ends is a super high level of racing. Yet, its almost a bigger gap from top fuel to mullet then the gap from mullet to sam's f150. To have a team of guys to run one car. 100's of thousands of dollars for one weekend. shit, lets call it a million after you account for salaries, the rig, all the items you replace. So insane to see how far it really goes in racing. Hats off Cleet, i see a pro mod in ur future!

That plaid pulls HARD, even tho it was at about 50% battery at the start of the racing. Still, the turbo S is such a good car, it makes up for its lack of power around the corners by being lighter and having great suspension.

Love it.!! You never let us (the fans) down. For all of you content haters, suck it. This guy rocks. He kills it in fact. I have watched him and this channel grow so much from the beginning. TY for all the hard work.

Clay is such a chill dude. We used to do his websites and stuff and he was 100% a class act any time we were fortunate enough to go to races with him. I still remember the first time I took photos for him. I lined up my shot on the start line as they took off and I was fortunate enough to take a photo of the stars lol. The shockwave almost knocked me on my butt.

Back when the boys were young, ens we would go to Pomona for both races. One Saturday we were in the pits and and I stepped into that cloud on purpose. My eyes still burn 45yrs later. Mr. McMillan was standing with us. He jumped as much at the Wack as we did and was laughing as hard. Pure Gentleman.
