Answer this Riddle: "I'm second-hand and often worn with age, Yet in my resale, I take center stage. You might find me in a shop that's quite thrifty, Or online where prices can be nifty. I'm not brand new, but I'm full of charm, What am I that causes no harm?"

Resellers in Las Vegas are so lucky. You have Goodwill, Savers, flea markets, etc. I have to travel at least 80 miles to find a Goodwill. I'm jealous.😊

I live for my Yankees, and after Christmas sales are great places to get stuff to resale. One year, we went on what was the very last day of the sale. We filled 2 shopping carts - and I mean really packed them for 25 bucks a cart. They had Halloween and Christmas stuff and a whole bunch of odds and ends they were clearing out - we came home and added up the retail cost and I had over 4 grand of stuff in each cart. They even gave me the store Santa outfit - which was a realy high end one. It was an expensive store - now out of business. My whole living room was covered with stuff. I my mom and her best friend took what they wanted and I sold a lot of the rest of it the following Halloween and Christmas - even sold a lot of stock to a local store for inventory! Watch out for stores going out of business and having 90 percent off sales, You will get bargains! When my son was a baby there was a store that had a Crazy Sale twice a year at 90 percent off, I would estimate what size my son would be wearing in a year and hit that sale hard, I was buying very expensive English and French baby clothes for ten cents on the dollar, My 2 year old had a distressed leather bomber jacked and a French leather tuxedo. Anything that didn't fit him when the right season came along, I sold. Another great way to get inventory that I don't think a lot of people are doing. Here on Long Island, a lot of stores are going out of business. My mom and I were the queens of going out of business sales. And we always cleaned up. The only problem was often you had to wait a year for the seasons to catch up. But I never minded - since I paid pennies. think about it. Look for stores going out of business. It is more than bread and butter money. It is steak and potatoes money. @@SonnyLasVegas

You guys sold stuff too cheap. You are going to be taking your leftovers and adding to it with new stuff every week, right?? Well while you are sitting there - start putting prices on everything! Use a starting point that allows you to come down a couple bucks and still end up at the price you originally added. Keep stickering. A lot of people will walk past stuff that is not priced - you know that. Then when you put stuff out the next week, you only have to sticker the new stuff. Or sticker it as you box it up to take. You and Kari were both way too timid when people asked you prices. Stand your ground. A better space would help you. You got lost among those washers and dryers. It would be great if you could start a Reseller Coop and take a few spaces and combine with other sellers who maybe can't afford a whole both themselves. I know how it feels. I will never forget this one super cold weekend here in NY - right before Christmas. We took really good stuff with us - froze our butts off and didn't sell ONE ITEM all weekend. Ended up losing money on the space rental and a lot of trips to the hot chocolate stand. Money we didn't have because we were flat ass broke. That hurts. You said you made some money - but how much when you count in the cost of the items, space rental and food and water? You and Kari are just too sweet. Get tough. Look stuff up, find out what it's going for then lower the prices 30 to 50 percent so people can buy and still make money reselling. That is how George the Antique Nomad does estate sales.
