There are a min of 6 signs and the garage door has it sprayed on. I have seen people read the signs and decide to park there anyways. That was with and without a scammer present. They even had a case where a person over the intercom told them not to park there and they ignored him. People are dumb.

I work as a valet and I believe my situation with people applies here. You could have a huge sign with neon colors and lights that says exactly what the building signs say and people will never acknowledge it. People feel so entitled these days and think they can get away with petty shit like this. They change tune when consequences happen though and I find humor in that.

Not entitlement, but rather confusion. If the sign simply says "No Parking" but there are cars parked there, then what's going on? The first thing I would do is check other cars for common window stickers, rearview mirror hangers, etc. If it says parking only for customers, but the business is clearly closed for the day, can you park there? I once received a parking ticket for parking overnight in a place that clearly said parking was free from like 8pm - 8am or something like that. The ticket said that this rule only applies to residents, not tourists :( On my street, there are no parking signs, but again there is an hourly restriction. Some guy asked me if he could park there and well according to the sign he was good, but he thought maybe parking on the corner which blocked the sidewalk would be a problem. All I could really tell him Is that I see meter maids from time to time but it's usually not at that time of day. I got 2 parking tickets for parking on the grass on Fort Bragg, tons of people were parked there because the parking lot was completely full, therefore it's reasonable to expect that this is ok. There were no signs. The worst part was one ticket was issued Friday night and the next Saturday morning... like c'mon it's obvious I haven't seen the ticket yet. Not even a warning was issued! I could go on and on about ambiguous situations like this.

I have towed just over 3000 vehicles over a 5 year period. It warmed my heart seeing them return only to find their car gone. These entitled dimwits have zero respect for others' property rights. They were too interested in carousing in a bar and thought it OK to trespass on another's property and attempt free parking even though warning signs were well displayed. One day I towed a car of an actual resident, but they forgot to hang their parking tag. It cost them over $300 to get their car, and I'll never forget their sad faces - a nice, young couple who could not afford that expense. I quit and never towed another car.

Reminds me of a night at the club when my friends convinced me to park on the street. The sign was visible and I protested. I parked anyway. I avoided being towed by one car in front of me that was unlucky enough to be picked first. I had a ticket that I looked up online, but there was no record of a violation. I enjoyed this video because of the soundtrack and the way he warned them in advance.
