No idea which part you're referring to since you didn't put a timestamp but I know that in the UK, the traffic on the main carriageway has priority. Often a driver will move over or hold back for you, but it's up to you to go at the correct speed and find a gap. That's also why the rule about giving enough space between you and the car in front is so important

Angeles Crest is used heavily by motorcyclists. Lost my best friend on that highway years ago because of something like this. My ex was hit and in the hospital for months, 2 other friends were pushed over a cliff in their car. My brother's car ended up suspended in the air between two trees because someone passed on a curve. These incidents were decades ago and drivers are worse now. I grew up on that road but wouldn't go near it now...so many ghosts past and future.

The person merging into traffic has the responsibility to find their own way in. Drivers on the highway have zero responsibility to slow down, move over, or speed up to accommodate them. If there’s no space, they may have to stop. They don’t have any right of way.

In that situation, you don’t get to try to just get onto the highway in the first small gap you see, you wait. I’ve been on the highway for 16 years now as a “professional” driver - aka a truck driver (I hate saying that because it sounds like saying call me dr… but it is what I do, and why the law is generally not on my side in most accident situations), and I can tell you merges like this cause a lot of accidents. It’s a lot worse when dump trucks and semis do it, but that also happens as well. I still stand by what I said about zipper merging being preferable, but this wasn’t an on ramp with the rules that typically go with that. Is it a dick move to speed up when someone is in the emergency lane trying to get on? Yes. Do you have to let them get on the highway into right of way from nearly a dead stop into flowing traffic? No.

What nobody wants to accept is that traffic is a queue and the person who starts their journey first should logically be the person who gets to their destination first. But because we all drive at slightly different speeds, we are allowed to "jump" the queue by passing and this works fine in free-flowing traffic. But once traffic slows up it just breaks the human brain. Imagine if you were queuing for tickets or whatever but there was this rule that people coming from a shorter distance away could "blend" into the queue "if there was space" and people were like trying to edge ahead of you all the time and sticking one foot in and then expecting you to back off and let them cut and raging out if you refuse to let them...

I always get over in the next lane or speed up/slow down to let people in and I do so in that manner depending on how far/close they are. If they speed up first I’ll slow down, if they slow down, I speed up to let them in behind me. There is such an easy solution for that. In germany we are forced by law to use the "Reißverschlussverfahren" when lanes are merging. It translates to "Zipper Procedure". Basically means one after another must make space and drive, right - left - right - left. Of course the Accelerating Line when driving onto a highway like the Autobahn is something different and you have to give the flowing traffic right of way. It only applies when a line ends or is blocked by something. But of course that does not mean that everybody is driving by law. People that don't make space are selfish farking dikheads and only hold up traffic behind them.

As a German it is super scary to see the mentality of these drivers - the "victims" and the "suspects"! Pulling out guns (wtf??) or get out the car and rage like there is no tomorrow... It seems like everyone wants to escalate the situation as fast as possible. By the way... in my opinion 80% of the situations could be avoided by the "cammers". Just calm the f*** down and drive passive and be aware of your surroundings. just my 2 cents...

Holy shit the one with the guy who hit a tire on the highway was smooth as hell. He did a full strurcle drift kept control of the car and went straight into the emergency stopping lane without even hitting the guard rail. I’m fully convinced that if there were cars there he would’ve parallel parked coming out of that drift just to show off.

It was incredible, the amount of skill needed to do that, with the plus of beeing at nigth on a road with traffic without even crashing with other cars or the guard rail is a mix of luck and skill. Just epic.

I agree, but personally I come from a small country being on KZbin is a big deal ,also it's permanent and these channels feature you a lot and on repeat ,someone somewhere might be wondering 'where have I seen you' ...then in the same instance this video pops up.It's bad if it's a potential employer ,worse if it's on Facebook and you get tagged ,plus nowadays there is social credit for job seekers the searches go deep even into facial recognition... there are consequences...not for everyone but for some....

The same as the cam guy could have let him in, the white truck could have yielded like he was supposed to. When the cam dude mentioned that the truck ran like a dog with its tail tucked between its legs, there was a strange cut in the video of about a minute, maybe to give the impression that the truck just drove off quickly scared. Both were idiots in that scenario, but Mr Frank seemed to be more so.

Drug related. I used to work with 9-11 and very cop would say random attacks are almost never random even if the victims continue to claim so. Especially violent ones. This was not a large city so random street violence was nearly unheard of unless it was drunk homeless.

Depends. Different Caliber's, Different Bullet Weight's, Different Velocities, Powder Charge, etc. Bullets do weird shit in general. One day I was driving and a bullet struck my windshield and caught itself in the windshield, looked to me to be a 22 Long Rifle but can't be 100%. You could see the impact point and then spiderwebbed out. I only reload/handload old milsurp calibers.

Might be gang related, or a very very very very pisssed of road raged person. I read an article of two McDonald customers at a drive thru. A lady ordered her food and didn't go because she was checking if her food are correct, the driver behind d her got impatient and yelled at her. She yelled back, and later when they are on the highway the impatient driver throws a rock at her car and caused a potential fatal accident. Luckily everything was recorded and the driver was arrested.
