I used to work at a novelty "Retro Candy" type of store as a clerk, and I sold a ton of those Reed's hard candies. I never tasted them in the time I was there, but always assumed they tasted great by how many people would buy them, and since the owner and manager would encourage I taste test whatever I want, I'm kinda glad I didn't get to experience that one.

I've had jujubees recently and lemme tell you, they taste like the ghost of a fruit trapped in a coffin of hard gelatin and glue.
