I know this was a project from the past, but if I may I'd like to offer some friendly advice. Our niche is in high-end furniture/cabinets and over the years I learned from this mistake. When building for high-end clients there is an expectation of very robust expensive hardware. If a home has high-end cabinets already with undermount soft-close slides and you deliver a new piece of furniture with box store side mounts, the client will immediately recognize the poor quality hardware feel. I only mention that because the client had $700 more in the budget and the hardware was only $35. The last thing you want is the cheap hardware to take away from the beautiful door you built.

Hey Jennie And Davis, thank you so much for this video. I really enjoy watching the build. Looks like it took a whole gallon of wood glue. The project looks like a masterpiece. It is certainly worth more. At least 2000 to 2500 In my estimation. But you won a customer who can always sell your work to another and that is priceless! Love you both... keep loving each other.

I really like your videos. You guys are simple and do great work. I am just now starting my woodworking business & have done great projects for myself but also for friends. Other than posting my projects on my pFB I created idk what else to do to get more clients. Everyone I show my work to loves it but still can’t get enough people interested in ordering projects with me while those same people buy things from stores at a higher price then what I would build myself.

My favorite part of this entire video was that there was no mind bending miter math. :)

Hi, I've been following your videos and story for a while( from the UK) I might not be your target audience. However, I just love the enthusiasm and, more importantly, the top tips you give. Im retired now, and with my brother- in-law (who lives next door) are starting a business making things out of wood. Its been a passion of ours for a while! Your videos are inspiring us..... great job guys....thank you..

Couple thoughts.. shame the face veneer of that plywood barely got seen, other that 1/64”- 1-32” for each slice turned sideways. Also, would have been nice if you had the strips of herringbone pattern overhang the plywood substrate and then continued that pattern on the edge, rather than the vertical plywood layers. (Just my opinion of course). Came out nice though.

Not sure I would consider people who are not wealthy as "sad people". The door came out nice, though.
