27:58 If you're wondering why everybody is freaking out with this one specifically, it's because this broke the two fundamental rules of hidden blocks known to the group for actual _years_ of playing. 1. Getting a star in First Place 2. Getting a star when Bonus Stars are off, which is a true rule in MP2 and 3. Despite Superstars copying the homework of the first three Mario Parties, it wants to be different in the wrong ways. Such as not being able to say No to the Boo, forcing you to steal and make an enemy whether you want to or not, and now this: Getting hidden block stars when Bonus Stars are off.

You have to realize that the time they played isn’t counted in years, but days as they only play Mario party with each other and their friends. If they literally played for years they would have discovered this long before playing with each other. It’s more shocking that Brent didn’t know at all about it despite him actually having years of experience in mario party.

Brent didn't know about this because it's a newer entry to the series, which is more baby when compared to N64, the ones he is truly familiar with. The older games made it a rule that with Bonus Stars off, you'll never get a Hidden Block Star, which then became the default justification for whenever they did all the previous Superstars challenges.

IMHO, this video is the best way to do Mario party challenges. The challenge itself was so simple, but caused so much chaos trying to fulfill it while playing to the Party Crashers strength, as they all argued and diplomacy trying to win. I still come back to this video every now and then just from the fun factor that came from this.
