I'm not gonna spend more on my sim rig, but turn signal stalks would be so nice. I got used to using the joystick in truck sims and then in my real car i started skipping tracks trying to turn on my signal

And, heretofore, I have not felt the need to throw thousands of dollars and house floor space at upgrading. Mate, I drive a Semi truck and trailer for a motorsports team, it's the best job in the world. I drive all over the USA and Canada. I used the truck sim at home and it's very very similar to driving IRL.

For me, when backing up a trailer I like to just think of it this way. Once you see the trailer moving into a mirror turn the wheel towards that mirror to get the trailer to go the opposite way. Need the trailer to your left? Right hand down on the steering wheel. Need to go right? Left hand down on the wheel. Not sure if that helps anyone or not but once I got that in my head I got pretty decent at backing up trailers.

well that's the easy bit, actually getting the trailer and truck all lined up at the right time is the tricky part. (I don't drive a truck but absolutely suck at driving with a trailer XD)

As the son of a lifelong trucker, it's pretty funny to see Jimmy tryhard on something like reversing the truck in place. And it's a nice reminder that everyone don't nessecarely know how to back up a truck with a trailer. Still, Great Trucking Jimmer ! (Btw, 99% of today's trucks have an automatic transmission, if you fumble your gears, no one will judge you if you switch the settings :]

If the game supports head tracking like (trackir) it might make it easier to use the mirrors. Moving your head to change the angle you look at the mirrors would then give you a better view. But, I don't know if the game simulates that. I'm not into ETS but you made it entertaining.

Tip for future plays actual truck have 1800° of steering wheel rotation, that will make it more realistic and for the suspension, best are 25% stiffness in game settings

Fun fact a semi with air ride suspension and an air ride cab with an air ride seat is actually quite a smooth ride. If your bouncing and twisting you are likely in the wrong gear or going way too fast
