You know this is fiction because a rich person went to prison

It's wild, you get too rich and the likelihood of literally losing your head in a social uprising is actually higher than doing more than a year of incarceration.

And it all could have been avoided. Sam made no attempt to tell David that no one on the base was aware of the clone lab. That it only existed for an elite class who could afford to pay, and the vast majority of humans would have found it repugnant. The crew would have protected the clones and released the story to the press. The battle was of no benefit. A very sad story.

Sam should have reported his findings of sabotage and the clones to his superiors. It’s not his job to decide what should and shouldn’t be done. Also Maria, the tech that first discovered the encrypted messages should have also reported those findings. They both should be brought up on charges and punished.

@@Nonce746 Yeeeah, this is why scifi writing sucks nowadays. Every thing is being made with feefees in mind that only the writer understands, because some of the stuff these writers expect you to just "forgive" and move on about are quite frankly insane....... and then you meet the writer and it all makes sense, and your eyes are burnt out by bright, rainbow coloured hair >_

Cool story, but who taught the clones do any of the things they did, let alone talk. They don't come out of the tank knowing anything.

Hi GH. This was an excellent (as usual!) but very disturbing story. Personally, I doubt that the cloning industry will shut down. But RIP David and his fellow clones. And Sam and the others - respect to you for acknowledging your part in this ghoulish business and expressing your guilt and remorse.

Very different story from the rest. It reminds me of the old 90s cartoon Exo-Squad from back in the day. The story very much felt like that show. A creation fighting for the same rights as their counterparts. Keep it up man because you are inspiring me to do my own Sci-Fi Stories.

Really wish there was some proof reading before posting, the story repeats a section like half way through, and this is at least the fifth time I've noticed the same issue in this channels stories
