i would imagine the steve guy is one of two things either hes a herobrine clone minus the attacking or hes one of those corrupted mobs ive seen in other modpacks where their jaw unhinges and stuff idk how to explain it better than that

if your referring to the "other player" as the steve we see then no this is not herobrine becuase we got a better look at him in last episode but good guess!!

Im pretty sure the infection is from the parasite mod it can be spread to animals and there's different stages of the infection

No, no.. if your talking about villager 32, then its from the Apollyon mod. I tested it myself, do do not believe it. But if its smth else then my bad.
