Easiest way to remember Pecharunt's stats is the Mochi from the story and the Toxic Chains it uses have the loops in them. The number 8 is made of two loops. 88 across the board and then 160 Defense which is just around double

I felt the same way. To me, it doesn't make sense to do 10% of the guess it should be 10% of the stat. Becuase the guess range gets wonky. You'd have to guess 164-200 to get 180. Instead of 162-198

As a thank you to where this all started, you should do a Retro Red/Blue match. Useless abilities and neutral natures with no held items, then take the average of special attack and special defense as both to imitate the old special stat.

“Then we battle” video idea: Each player opens 9/10 packs from the Pokémon Trading Card Pocket. (Either 3 from each set or just a straight 10 packs from one set) You select one Pokémon from each pack you open to add to your team. After you’ve selected all your mons, your opponent eliminates one of your pulls until you each have 6 Pokémon left, then you battle with your leftover team. Example: in your 4th pack you pull Moltres then your opponent says- “you can’t use the Pokémon from pack 4” meaning you can’t use the Moltres. Abilities from Pokémon of the same type or Random abilities. It might be too Kanto heavy but content do be contenting at least 🤷🏻‍♂️

Draft, Auction, and or Generate Your Abilities(either or, I think drafting would be better but am unsure) before you see your Pokemon, then you have to use each ability once not knowing whats coming next. So you use Huge Power on something and a better pokemon comes later. Too bad. Think it could be neat!

luke is right about the return on investment for base stats, as since EVs are factored into the final stat, the lower the base stat the more EVs matter, the higher the base stat the less EVs matter, also due to how multiplications of 5x5 and 9x1 have large differences since one is unbalanced and the other is balanced. the only stat this doesnt apply to is speed since it acts as a binary rather than a scale since it is isolated rather than being part of other stats

I got an idea for a then we fight: 3 starters. Revealed to both at the same time. Each person chooses one of the 3 (switching who chooses first every round) and then there is a 1v1 fight for the buff. The Pokémon that wins the 1v1 gets a buff, the other one gets a nerf. Like that until there's a team of 6. Then... 6v6
