Way to teach your kids, Dad! This is a skill Andrew will use many times, for the rest of his life! I had a Dad like you, who, luckily, believed in teaching these types of things to both his sons and his daughter! Because of that, I'm fairly competent at all sorts of general maintenance tasks around my house! (And I never met a tool I didn't like!) 😁😁

I have LED bulbs with dusk to dawn sensors in our light fixtures. No one else in our neighborhood has their outdoor lights on all night and I think it is an important safety feature! Plus, I really like coming home to a well-lit house.

Great job. I have dusk to dawn lights on both my front doors. Love that the lights are on when I come home. It’s good that your kids are learning how to work on projects. Life skills are necessary. Now you need to tape the switch ON so it doesn’t get turned off.

Looks great. We bought similar plus motion detector (30% to 100% brightness) for our front door. We use door to go in and out. Work great - Amazon has nice light options.

Love the lights. LED lights last a long time and even if one goes, they are usually in a cluster so the remaining will still light. At least I think that's how they work ☺️

Might want to have at least three replacement lights in your storage, just in case. They might not be available whenever you need them, and they definitely will be more expensive

Did it have a warranty or guarantee to last for a certain number of years? If so, complete any registration that may have come with the lights so you can get a replacement if it doesn’t last as long as stated.
