Love to see that anchor bolts will provide a way to limp to a shop within a short range or to keep the vehicle stable for transport on a flat-bed. Was interesting seeing the bolts shred their sleavings like that. And another good reason to not accelerate wildly. Thanks for another fun video to learn from.

For anyone unaware, wheel studs are intended to secure the rim to the hub by clamping the two together, not through lateral forces on the studs.

Glue them on with different kind of glues. Epoxy, construction glue, spray foam etc..

Statistically, at least in the UK, you are more likely to have a wheel fall off due to the wheel being OVERtightened than undertightened. overtightening stretches the bolts/studs and eventually they snap.

I’ve had some pretty bad taxis from yandex but thankfully never had one with a wheel come off! Using a bolt from each of the other wheels is pretty common in that situation.

If you can put on a metal roof with self tapping screws. Then if you have enough you could just drill 6 into the hub to get you home. I've seen many steel frame buildings held together in the worst weather with them.

How about you get lug nuts 1 size too big. You wrap the lug with solder wire, screw the lug nut on over the wire and then heat it with a torch soldering the nut to the lug.

How about making clutch mechanism from differential, brake disc and caliper? Using axle shafts as input and output, and pinion shaft for brake mechanism for controlling torque transfer through diff.🤔
