even if you do frame by frame analysis, you can see that he wasn't holding the cube and his fingers didn't stop a possible +2 so it doesn't break the spirit of the rule, his body is just too small to drop it far enough without having to toss the cube for him to always stop the timer with enough clearance

Xuanyi is better than Yiheng at his age, but many people forget that yiheng was in lockdown for almost 2 years. It also affected him in 2023 and at the World Cup. He could have had the world record at the age of 8. 2025 will be the best for yiheng, he will hold the wr, win the title and sub4. Xuanyi is awesome, but second place is nice too...

well there has to be a physical material limit of the cube and a physical speed limit of a human. I think he will approach what is humanly possible. This video was insane he was so fast it is crazy. I can solve a cube in like 4 minutes. But I just learned a 7 step process and did my first solve less than 2 weeks ago. I now have a speed cube and am in search of what I need to learn to progress and make a sub 1 minute. But I am proud to say in my 40's I solved a cube and can now do so consistently. It was always on my bucket list of things to learn and I finally did it. Good for you making a 15s average.

Help..Just found this channel. Where do I go to learn to get faster at solving. Few weeks back I for the first time learned to solve. I can now consistently solve using the 7 step method but it takes me 4 minutes. I am not hoping to get anything even close to what I just saw, mind f-ing blown!!!, but I do want to progress to the next level as solving has now become pretty trivial following the steps. Can someone point me in the next direction of what I should learn to get faster? Goal sub 1 minute. Thanks. Again this video is absolutely insane that kid is so fast.
